REPORT: Biden Admin Shut Down Trump State Department Investigation Into Coronavirus Origin

Does this mean that we call the 46th President “Beijing Biden” now?

For years Trump has been called “Putin’s puppet” for wanting to have a better relationship with Russia. (Kinda weird since the Obama admin pushed the “Russian Reset” when Hillary was Secretary of State, and Barry told Medvedev that he will be more “flexible” on missile defense after his reelection.)

Yet, despite the fact that Donald Trump was hard on Russia throughout his presidency, during the Presidential debate, Joe Biden called Trump “Putin’s puppy” while pushing the debunked BlueAnon conspiracy theory about Russian bounties.

Whether he knows it or not, (and let’s face it, he probably doesn’t) Joe Biden is Xi’s b!tch.

The Corporate Media and medical “experts” like the prevaricating authoritarian Smurf, Saint Fauci, have suddenly acknowledged that maybe, perhaps, possibly, it might be conceivable that the novel coronavirus leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China, that was researching coronaviruses and not from the wet market 300 yards away. Possibly. Maybe. Perhaps.

But it clearly needs further investigation.

The Biden administration ended an inquiry into a possible connection between the origins of the novel coronavirus and a lab in Wuhan, a CNN report published Tuesday claims.

The State Department launched the previously undisclosed inquiry last fall under President Donald Trump — but the effort was shut down this spring because of “concerns about the quality of its work,” CNN reported, citing three unnamed sources.

Back to the “unnamed sources” criticizing the Trump administration, are we? Alrighty then.

Back in the fall of 2020, the State Department under Mike Pompeo had launched an investigation into the origin of the coronavirus including the possibility that it had come from a lab in Wuhan.

The CNN article says that the intent of the investigation was to determine if China’s extensive bioweapons program had been involved in the coronavirus.

Those involved in the previously undisclosed inquiry, which was launched last fall by allies of then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, say it was an honest effort to probe what many initially dismissed: that China’s biological weapons program could have had a greater role in the pandemic’s origin in Wuhan, according to two additional sources…

…The decision to terminate the inquiry, which was run primarily out of the State Department’s arms control and verification bureau, was made after Biden officials were briefed on the team’s draft findings in February and March of this year, a State Department spokesperson said. Questions were raised about the legitimacy of the findings and the project was deemed to be an ineffective use of resources, explained a source familiar with the decision.

Why would they stop the investigation? Simple: Orange Man Racist.

The Biden administration axed the investigation because they claim that it became “mired in internal discord” over concerns that the investigation was an attempt by the Trump administration to politicize the virus and that facts were being “cherry-picked” to blame China for the virus.

Right. Because you can’t imagine any possible scenario where the Chinese Communist Party that is so loving and tolerant could be researching coronaviruses for nefarious purposes. That’s just not a thing that would ever happen, right?

The State Department’s inquiry grew “contentious” last year as some questioned whether the investigation was part of a Trump administration effort to blame China for the outbreak, CNN said, citing sources.

CNN quoted one former State Department official as calling the work “suspicious as hell” and saying those leading the probe cut out technical experts.

It’s all utterly shameful that the Democrats and their sycophants in the Corporate Media had dismissed this simply because the Trump administration suggested that it was a possibility. 

They did it to win an election and they didn’t give a damn about getting to the truth despite the number of lives lost and devastating effects on education, employment, and mental health.

What else are they lying about and covering up to help Democrats while calling Republicans “political” for wanting to get to the truth?

It’s disgraceful and they should all be ashamed of themselves. But they won’t be because these people have no shame.
