Chinese State Media Says China Must Prepare For Nuclear War With U.S. — Here’s The 411

Remember this story the next time Hollywood, the NBA, Disney, or Big Tech openly appease the unreasonable demands of the power-mad Chi-Com dictators.

Those of us who grew up in the 80s know what it was like to think of World War III as an eventual certainty. The Cold War would eventually heat up, and the showdown between American and the USSR was a question of ‘when’ and ‘where’, not ‘if’.

If we had hoped that the fall of the USSR would lead to a future where the words ‘Nuclear Winter’ would never again be spoken in anything other than a historical context, this story will come as bad news.

China’s government-owned media organs are rattling their sabers, reminding the world that they are a nuclear power, and aren’t afraid to throw their weight around to keep USA from holding China accountable for a variety of untoward actions, ranging from their economic double-dealings to their infiltration of institutions around the world or the obvious systematic cover-up we saw in the wake of the spread of COVID, and so on.

[Considering it would only take one nuke detonated at altitude to wipe out the power grid, this might be a good time for us to remind our leaders that hardening our electrical grid against man-made or solar Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) is a long-neglected infrastructure priority.]

It is widely speculated that China is posturing to make some aggressive advances against their neighbors in the near-term future. They are talking tough, and counting on America having become too soft and timid to do anything to stop them.

In response to Biden finally being shamed into investigating the Lab Leak theory (reopening the investigation that his own administration had just closed), State-Owned media mouthpieces in China responded with this message.

China’s state-run Global Times editor Hu Xijin — who once called Australia “gum stuck to China’s shoe” — offered his war cry in a series of posts on the Weibo social media platform.

…“Given the intensifying US strategic containment of China, I would like to remind once again that we have many urgent tasks, but one of the most important is to keep rapidly increasing the number of nuclear warheads and strategic missiles like the Dongfeng 41 with extremely long-range and high survival capabilities. This is the cornerstone of China’s strategic resilience against the United States,” Mr Hu wrote in a post translated by Chinese human rights activist Jennifer Zeng.

“We must be prepared for a high-intensity showdown between the US and China, at which point a large number of DF-41 and JL-2 and JL-3 will be the backbone of our strategic will. “Our nuclear missiles must be so numerous that the US elite will tremble at the thought of military confrontation with China at that time.”

“On such a basis, we can calmly and actively manage our differences with the US and avoid all kinds of gunfire. As US hostility toward China continues to burn, we need to use our strength and the unbearable risks they would face if they took the risk to force them to remain calm.” —DailyTelegraph

If there is any silver lining to be found, it may be found in which platform they used to announce it. Rather than sending this message out on Twitter, which is how they usually address a global audience, the source article pointed out that this was using the Weibo platform, suggesting that this propaganda may have been mainly intended to shape the views of Chinese citizens.

That brings us to the end of the ‘news’ part of this article. But it should be obvious to any reader that a potential nuclear provocation should prompt serious questions from the American (or, in the wider sense, Western perspective).

If THEY are openly saying that they must be prepared for a nuclear showdown in the official news organ of the CCP, the obvious corollary must be that WE must likewise be prepared for a nuclear showdown. What might that look like, aside from the previously-mentioned hardening of our electrical grid, which cannot be stressed enough?

Here are two observations to get the conversation started.

ONE: With so few Communists controlling such a large Chinese population, information and public opinion could prove to be a fatally weak link in their system.

China does not want the world to see that CCP incompetence led to the pandemic, partly because many Chinese people suffered and died from this disease as well. If the public will ever turns against the relative handful of Communist leaders, the regime would have no power over the people at all.

TWO: Unblushing threats on China’s part to seed mushroom clouds across America should give the rest of the world reason to rethink the nature of our relationship with someone so openly cutthroat and willing to win at any cost.

For example, how many of our critical supply lines — including important industrial and pharmacological supply lines — would be instantly cut off if China suddenly announced itself as our enemy? Our pharmaceutical supplies had already been held over our heads during the pandemic. Do you trust them not to do the same if they began trying to conquer their neighbors?

Imagine how that leverage would evaporate if a meaningful percentage of their industry that has been enriching and empowering China’s ability to throw their weight around was suddenly diverted to powerful regional neighbors like India, neighbors that have been historically friendly to the West?

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
