The mural was painted in July 2020 and destroyed by an “act of God” in July 2021.

The wall where a mural of George Floyd was painted on a Toledo, Ohio building collapsed on July 13.

A building inspector said that the collapse was likely just caused by the “natural deterioration” of an old building.

Hugh Koogan, a city building inspector, told our media partner the Toledo Blade the collapse was a result of natural deterioration and had noticed the middle of the wall bowing recently.

“It was just age. It just came away,” the inspector told the Blade.

Toledo Police were seen outside the building, which used to house the Mugshots Bar, setting up tape around the pile of bricks that once formed the artwork.

However, several witnesses say that the building was struck by lightning.

The National Weather Service reported that there were storms in the area and ABC 13’s Doppler radar confirmed that there was a lightning strike on that block at approximately 4:30 pm.

The artist who painted the mural, however, is skeptical and thinks that it was an act of vandalism.

…David Ross — who painted the mural last year — told the Toledo Blade that he’s skeptical of the cause. Ross received threats last summer as he painted the mural, which makes him wonder if someone has now vandalized his work.

“When I did the mural, there was stuff on the wall that I couldn’t remove and that let me know how strong that structure was,” Ross said. “The lightning thing, that’s possible, but I know it didn’t just fall.”

Still, it is rather strange that the other two murals seemed largely intact and it was the portion with George Floyd’s face that was completely destroyed.

Gee, maybe making an idol out of a convicted criminal is a bad thing.

Despite being a convicted felon, taking drugs, and caught attempting to break the law by passing off counterfeit currency, and resisting arrest, George Floyd has been elevated to the status of “saint” simply because of how he died.

Last year, ministries were holding daily worship services at the site in Minneapolis where George Floyd died and were even baptizing people there. That seems a bit…idolatrous.

(Beethoven’s 9th Symphony would be “Ode to Joy” — but you probably already knew that.)

Our God is a jealous God.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
