Whether you think of it as a ‘comeback’ or just a ‘homecoming’, anyone who hoped President Donald J Trump would just fade into the woodwork will be sadly disappointed. (Especially the establishment RINOs.)
In his appearance, Trump made a point of telling the audience that he wanted to be in the worst timeslot CPAC had available… and the crowd would still pack out the place.
He was also making some jokes at his own expense, talking about how he would play up favorable polls, and downplay polls that put him in a bad light, but he used them to make a point — that the supposed impartial media played the same game, with the opposite agenda. He was on stage before the straw poll results were released — he even asked if they were out yet — and said that if the numbers reflected badly on Trump, the media would love that story, but if they were favorable, it wouldn’t be much of a story at all.
It wasn’t ALL media that he was ragging on — he mentioned a few honest and honorable ones even in places like Reuters. It’s the fake news media that are behaving as, in his words, the ‘enemy of the people’.
With that kind of a setup, how did he do in those polls? Far better than the RINOs and the Dems would have hoped.
Trump said he’d praise a CPAC poll if it came out in favor of him, otherwise…

More than 8 months after he lost the 2020 election, former President Donald Trump was able to celebrate another Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) win on Sunday after he topped the 2024 Republican presidential nomination straw poll at the Dallas event.

CPAC, made up of mostly right-wing Trump supporters, held two 2024 presidential straw polls: one with Trump and one without. Released in the afternoon, the results showed Trump capturing 70 percent of ballots cast, with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis coming in second at 21 percent. None of the other possible candidates made 1 percent in the anonymous straw poll.
Trump’s win marked an improvement from the 55 percent he drew in the Orlando CPAC straw poll in February.
DeSantis easily won the Republican primary ballot straw poll without Trump, capturing 68 percent of ballots cast. Mike Pompeo, who served as secretary of state under the Trump administration, came in second with 5 percent, followed by Donald Trump Jr. at 4 percent. –Christina Zhao
His detractors can throw everything they’ve got at him, and that doesn’t change anything. To borrow a line from an infamous movie scene, he’s not effing leaving.
And by the look of it, his base has got his back.
Buckle up folks, if you thought the last four years were crazy, these next few are going to be wild.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive
Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
