It’s obvious how the border policies of the ventriloquist dummy over at 1600 Pennsylvania have panned out. But what about the Governors… in particular Texas?
Allen West has taken a trip to the Rio Grande in the middle of the night to see firsthand what kind of leadership we’ve been getting. While a certain someone was presumably asleep in the Governor’s mansion, he was getting personally acquainted with how bad, exactly, the problem at the border has become.
What his video shows us is how the situation we are facing right this minute is STILL desperately crying out for competent leadership.
West is tired of waiting for someone else to answer the call and do what needs doing. He’s taking action himself.
And the Lt. Col. knows a thing or two about leadership. He isn’t coming to the public with platitudes. He has concrete steps in an action plan.
He shows us the group of 80 people coming over at one time while, a little further along the river, they were able to see telltale lights from another group ducking the Border Patrol who were using that distraction to slip into Texas unopposed.
There are powers a Governor can bring to bear on this situation to solve it… if only they have the political will to do so.
Abbott has been given ample opportunity to initiate Texas’ proactive response to Biden’s Broken Border. It’s too little too late.
