How do we know that the Corporate Media in the United States is completely broken? Just look at the coverage of disgraced Creepy Porn Lawyer, Michael Avenatti.

ClashDaily reported on Thursday that Stormy Daniels’s former lawyer was heading to prison for his attempt at extorting Nike.

Jerry Dunleavy of the Washington Examiner posted on Twitter that Avenatti was crying at the sentencing hearing and the judge was reading the transcripts of Avenatti’s profanity-laden extortion rants to Nike into the official record.

This guy was all over cable news back when he was representing Stormy Daniels. The anti-Trump media lauded him and even took him seriously in 2018 when he trotted out nutty Julie Swetnick who was accusing then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of having run a gang-rape ring when he was a high school sophomore. It was insane. 

So, how will CNN, Avenatti’s chief media cheerleaders, handle the news that their former hero is a disgraceful, greedy, slimeball of a lawyer and is headed to the clink for attempting to extort a multi-billion dollar company?

First, they’ll tease it…

One more time…

And then… a whopping 90-second segment. That’s it.

Let’s not forget how the Democrat Corporate Media lauded this guy as the “Savior of Democracy” — no, really, that’s what they called this a-hole, and CNN was one of the worst offenders.

According to the Media Research Center, Michael Avenatti was on cable news 254 times in one year.

CNN’s Editor-at-Large, Chris Cillizza was questioning if he would become President.

This was consistent with CNN’s eunuch potato “Media Watchdog”, Brian Stelter, who said that he “took him seriously” as a presidential candidate because he was forever on cable news…as CNN kept booking him as a guest on cable news.

The anti-Trump Corporate Media elevated this guy, pushed him as a possible presidential candidate, then dropped him like a radioactive potato when things went sideways and he was exposed as a corrupt, disingenuous dirtbag.

They might not want to acknowledge that they were complicit in raising his profile and making him a celebrity because he was anti-Trump — but we remember.

As Avenatti used to tweet regularly, “BASTA!” — Italian for “enough.” We’ve had enough of the Corporate Media’s shenanigans. It’s time to report the news in a balanced way.
