WATCH: Fauci Says Children 2 And Up Should Wear Masks — But That’s Not What The WHO Recommends…

Who will the “Trust the Science!” cultists follow — Dr. Fauci or the World Health Organization?

Man, this is going to be a tough one for leftists… one is Saint Fauci, Peace Be Upon Him, a decades-long career public health bureaucrat, and the other is the globalist health arm of the United Nations that is clearly in the pocket of the Chinese Communist Party. How will they ever be able to choose?

On Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared on MSNBC where host Andrea Mitchell was grilling him about when children can get expect to get injected with an experimental medication that hasn’t yet been fully approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

It’s amazing that Mitchell wasn’t hyperventilating when she asked it as she’s clearly terrified of the death and destruction that could occur from children spreading the less deadly “Delta variant” even though it appears they don’t play a big role in spreading the illness.

To be fair to Mitchell, she is 74 and therefore at a higher risk for complications and death from the coronavirus, so perhaps her fear is justified. Although, if she’s vaccinated, why does she care? She’s protected, right?

It seems a bit ghoulish to demand that children be given an experimental vaccine — which we have no long-term studies on — for an illness of which they are likely to only be mildly ill from if they notice symptoms at all.

But, Dr. Fauci has an answer… they’re working on it. In the meantime, make sure everyone over 2 is masked up and distancing.

What is very interesting is that this masking of children is largely a North American thing.

The World Health Organization actually recommends against masks for children age 5 years and under.

For children aged 6-11, you’d better have a good reason to do it because wearing masks can affect children’s development.

Even the recommendation for children 12 and up is only when they cannot maintain 3 feet of distance from someone else.

WHO and UNICEF advise that children aged 12 and over should wear a mask under the same conditions as adults, in particular when they cannot guarantee at least a 1-metre [3 feet] distance from others and there is widespread transmission in the area.

While those are their recommendations, they also advised that individuals should “consult and abide by local authorities on recommended practices in their area.”

What happens if the “recommended practices” are stupid because the authorities rely on the opinions of people who have become drunk on the sudden fawning media attention despite being wrong constantly and overtly lying to the public? *cough* Dr. Fauci *cough*

But the bigger issue for the libs terrified that a positive COVID test is a death sentence is that the “science” on mask-wearing for children apparently isn’t “settled” and there is a conflict with the recommendations by “medical experts.”

What will they do with that?

The rest of us are going to go about our lives, but this has got to be difficult for them. After all, they have no idea how to think on their own anymore.
