Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) is standing his ground just like the Governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam, did when the Blackface/KKK costume yearbook photo made headlines. Refusing to apologize worked for Northam, but will it work for the “Love Gov”?

Gov. Andrew Cuomo violated federal and state laws by sexually harassing multiple women — including current and former state employees — through actions that included touching their “intimate body parts” without consent, officials said Tuesday.

Cuomo and his team also allegedly retaliated against at least one victim and created a “toxic” and hostile work environment in the Executive Chamber, officials said…

…[New York Attorney General Letitia] James — who said 179 witnesses were interviewed, including Cuomo — released a 168-page report, with three appendices containing more than 450 pages of exhibits that include hand-written notes, emails and text messages documenting the governor’s alleged misbehavior.

“These interviews and pieces of evidence revealed a deeply disturbing yet clear picture: Gov. Cuomo sexually harassed current and former state employees in violation of federal and state laws,” she said.

“This investigation has revealed conduct that corrodes the very fabric and character of our state government and shines light on injustice that can be present at the highest levels of government.”

NY’s AG, Letitia James, called it “a sad day for New York” and after the independent probe that she commissioned found that Governor Cuomo engaged in “unwanted groping, kissing, hugging and making inappropriate comments.”

Here is AG James’s presser on the results of the independent investigation:

The sexual harassment investigation is part of a larger impeachment probe conducted by the Assembly’s Judiciary Committee. Cuomo is also being investigated by the FBI and the Brooklyn US Attorney’s Office for his handling of nursing homes during the early days of the pandemic and the cover-up of the number of deaths among the residents. In late July, the Department of Justice dropped the federal probe into Cuomo’s deadly nursing home order that forced COVID-positive patients back into nursing homes.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo maintained Tuesday that he “never touched anyone inappropriately,” pushing back on a bombshell official report that concluded he sexually harassed several women in violation of state and federal law — while suggesting that he was the victim of a smear campaign.

Speaking on video without reporters to ask questions, the governor was adamant in his denial, as he has been since the scandal erupted.

“I want you to know directly from me that I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances,” he told New Yorkers.

“That is just not who I am,” continued Cuomo, 63. “And that’s not who I have ever been.”

Cuomo insists that he’s just a friendly guy who hugs and kisses people a lot.

Here is Governor Cuomo’s response:

Let’s not forget that President Joe Biden said that Cuomo should be “prosecuted” if the investigation showed sexual harassment.

Today, the White House Press Secretary declined to comment during the press briefing.

Psaki also refused to say if President Biden “believes the women” after the bombshell New York AG report.

Later, the President stands by his statement that Governor Cuomo should resign if the investigation found evidence of sexual harassment.

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins asked Biden if he is calling on Cuomo to resign, and he said, “Yes.”

Interesting. Let’s see if that sticks.

It’s a pretty bold move for Biden who has been “credibly accused” of sexually assaulting Tara Reade and look at where he is now.

Still, Tara Reade’s name was trending with Cuomo and #MeToo, but don’t worry…the Big Tech clean-up crew are on the case to make sure that there’s no context to that.

After all, they can’t have “Biden” trending along with “Tara Reade”, “#MeToo”, and “resign”, can they? That might mean bad things for the Democrats and they can’t have that.
