The leaked audio comes hot on the heels of Secretary Mayorkas reporting that over Border Patrol officers had 212,000 interactions with migrants in July, which is a 13% increase from June.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was in Texas this week and spoke to Border Patrol agents about the surge of migrants flooding into the country.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that these “situations” at the border are “seasonal and cyclical” so, no need to worry!

It’s not looking so “seasonal and cyclical” anymore. It looks like people south of the border paid attention to what Biden was saying during his presidential run and decided that his “more humane” border policy was an open invitation.

On Thursday, DHS Secretary Mayorkas announced that there were over 212,000 “migrant encounters” in the month of July. This marks a 13% increase from the encounters in June.
Mayorkas (finally) admitted that the situation is “one of the toughest challenges we face.” He then said that it wasn’t something that couldn’t be handled, “The extent of the challenge should not be understated, but nor should our ability to meet it.”
Mayorkas then attempted to downplay the massive number.
But Fox News reporter, Bill Melugin who has been covering the border crisis dropped a few truthbombs on that.
Only 95,788 of these encounters resulted in a Title 42 expulsion.

Section 262 of U.S. Code Title 42 can allow authorities to prohibit entry into the United States when the CDC determines that “there is a serious danger to the introduction of [a communicable] disease into the United States.” The implementation of Title 42 allowed border agents to reject illegal border crossers seeking asylum into the United States due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Biden-Harris administration was seriously considering ending the Title 42 expulsions at the end of July but has kept them in place as the surge in illegal border crossing continues to be a big issue.
Remember, this over 212,672 number doesn’t include the “gotaways” that don’t interact with Border Patrol and slip into the country.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas met privately with Border Patrol agents in Texas and said in leaked audio that the border crisis is “unsustainable” and “we’re going to lose” if “borders are the first line of defense.”
“A couple of days ago I was down in Mexico, and I said look, you know, if, if our borders are the first line of defense, we’re going to lose and this is unsustainable,” Mayorkas said Thursday, according to the audio obtained by Fox News’ Bill Melugin through a Border Patrol source. “We can’t continue like this, our people in the field cant continue and our system isn’t built for it.”
Mayorkas told the agents that the current border situation “cannot continue.” He said the federal government’s system was not designed to handle such an influx of migrants as the U.S. has seen in recent months and he was “very well” aware that the sector recently came close to “breaking.”
“It’s our responsibility to make sure that that never happens again,” he said.

Behind the scenes, Secretary Mayorkas admits that what those on the right have been saying all along is correct.

After the audio leaked, Arizona’s Republican Governor Doug Ducey called for Mayorkas to resign and said that he needs to be replaced with someone who can “tell the truth.”

Even CNN admitted that the numbers of illegal entries are just staggering. By late June, over 1 million people have been arrested for illegally entering the United States through the porous southern border since last October.
More than 1 million migrants have been arrested after illegally crossing the US-Mexico border since last October, according to two US DHS officials, surpassing the 2019 border crisis tally with three months still left in the fiscal year https://t.co/kCSZcfHNKi

But that’s before June and July’s numbers were added. To put the influx into context, that’s comparable to adding the entire population of the state of Maine into the country every year.
You’re damned right it’s not sustainable!
And that’s just illegal migrants, most of whom are just “seeking a better life” but can’t be bothered to go through the long, confusing, and often very expensive process of emigrating legally. These are people who flout American immigration law while putting themselves at the mercy of human smugglers who abandon children, throw babies into the water to evade capture, rape women and girls, and let people die in the desert.
Allowing that to continue as well as rewarding crappy parents who send their children alone to a foreign country with human smugglers is the Biden-Harris “humane” border policy.
Yep, that sounds totally humane.
The situation at the border is absolutely tragic. People are needlessly dying, and that’s not an exaggeration.
A law enforcement source told me there’s been a dramatic increase in vehicle smuggling this year, leading to more crashes. In the RGV, there were three fatal car crashes in a one-week period, totaling 13 deaths. None of them were the result of the police pursuing the vehicles.

The facilities are overcrowded, and as we are constantly told, we are “in the midst of a deadly pandemic.” The Lambda Variant, which is thought to be able to “neutralize antibodies in both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals,“ has been spreading in South and Latin America. There are now cases of Lambda that have been detected in 44 states.
But this administration that wants to restrict interstate travel to only those who have been vaccinated, is rolling out the “Welcome” mat for illegal border crossers from *checks notes* Latin America.
And when they get here, this is what they are subjected to:

Remember, kiddies, this is “humane.”
Secretary Mayorkas doesn’t want Cubans and Haitians fleeing actual political unrest…
…but allowing a path for terrorists is just fine, apparently.
The Mumbler-In-Chief told red state Governors to “step aside” if they won’t do anything to stop the spread of the ‘Rona. Maybe it’s time for the Feds to “step aside” if they won’t do anything to secure our national border.
Maybe just go back to the White House where you can eat your chocolate-chocolate chip in a waffle cone, Joe, and let the governors who don’t have brains like soft-serve handle the flood of illegal migrants.
After all, even your DHS Secretary is admitting that what’s going on now is “unsustainable.”
