Even CNN Blasted Biden For Leaving Americans Stranded … But There’s MORE To That Failure

As expected, the only head to roll so far has been the Lt. Col. who asked for a little courage and accountability in the top tier of our military brass.
It wasn’t so long ago that Jen Psaki was indignant at even the suggestion by reporters that Americans were stranded in Afghanistan. Soon after that, the narrative pivoted from bringing back EVERY American to bringing back every American who ‘WANTED to come back’ — setting the stage for some serious blame-shifting if the situation went sideways and the fit hit the shan.
It did indeed hit the shan.
Here is a CNN correspondent in Afghanistan telling the story of an American family that went to visit an ailing relative in Afghanistan, only to get swept up in the fall of Kabul.
CNN’s Clarissa Ward reports on a Texas family abandoned in Afghanistan.

Here she is again on another show in a longer segment…
Americans, green card holders, SIVs are fighting to get out of Afghanistan before tomorrow’s deadline.
“People are very fearful of some kind of a purge or a blood letting after America leaves, especially with people who worked for the US Military,” @clarissaward reports pic.twitter.com/LiBWcgf8Gl

This is not simply FoxNews, or NewsMax, or Breitbart taking a partisan swipe at Biden. This is CNN who carefully propped Biden up in the last election. Even THEY can’t help but describe the obvious cluster**** that has been the Bungled Biden pull-out.
While Biden impatiently checks his watch, wondering how much longer he’ll have to sit through a ceremony for 13 American servicemen and women who died as a direct result of his incompetence, here’s what Americans on the ground have to deal with…
Well, that’s encouraging, but they’re still not safe until they’re actually out of the country.
Contrary to anything Psaki told us, they are stranded, and as the direct result of a series of decisions that came straight from the top, they are beyond the reach of our government to do much about it.
Elections have consequences. The ‘fortified’ one in 2020 proves that point.
The abandoning of Bagram — and tens of billions of dollars in military tech — is only one of the failure points that led to any number of American citizens becoming potential poker chips in our foreign relations.
Here’s another one. As we saw in the clips above, the problem with the evacuation was not the airport itself, but the fact that the Taliban controlled access to the airport, and turned many of our people away.
This was another example of our ‘leadership’ stepping on rakes.
In a hastily arranged in-person meeting, senior U.S. military leaders in Doha – including McKenzie, the commander of U.S. Central Command – spoke with Abdul Ghani Baradar, head of the Taliban’s political wing.
“We have a problem,” Baradar said, according to the U.S. official. “We have two options to deal with it: You [the United States military] take responsibility for securing Kabul or you have to allow us to do it.”
Throughout the day, Biden had remained resolute in his decision to withdraw all American troops from Afghanistan. The collapse of the Afghan government hadn’t changed his mind.
McKenzie, aware of those orders, told Baradar that the U.S. mission was only to evacuate American citizens, Afghan allies and others at risk. The United States, he told Baradar, needed the airport to do that.
On the spot, an understanding was reached, according to two other U.S. officials: The United States could have the airport until Aug. 31. But the Taliban would control the city.
As the days unfolded, the security in Kabul became increasingly hostile, culminating in the terrorist attack last week that killed 13 American servicemembers and 160 Afghans. According to a report from Politico last week, the Biden administration entrusted the Taliban so intensely with securing the city that they were allegedly given a list of names of American citizens, green card holders, and Afghan allies in the region. —Breitbart
They can blame Trump all they want, but does anyone believe Trump would have permitted the American Military to abandon the base, our military hardware, our citizens, and skip town in the dead of night, fleeing from the Taliban? Of course not. Any finger-pointing Biden makes at Trump needs to come to grips with the fact that Trump’s deal was CONDITIONS-based, not wedded to a firm date. If he had to drop another MOAB on the heads of ISIS to make his point, does anyone really believe he would have flinched at that thought?
Finally, a tough question from the press. But those who could answer have already turned their backs, and nobody will be willing to face it…

Joe was so busy ‘playing it safe’ that one of our last flights home came loaded with 13 caskets. Meanwhile, God alone knows how many people are stranded. The official number is ‘only’ a few hundred. But our officials all went out of their way to make the point that they were unsure of how many Americans were over there, really. But we’re not supposed to believe that was just a CYA at all… right?
Check out Doug’s latest book, The Art of Joe: The Political Brilliance of President Biden. If you have left-leaning family members, workmates, or classmates, to buy several copies and place them in common areas. Make sure you have your video camera ready for when they pick it up and thumb through it because they will be triggered which will make for a great viral video to share across social media. Also, buy a couple for the GOP NeverTrumpers that you know. Finally, both the book’s cover and the epilogue, Notable Quotable Joe are worth the price of admission. We’ve included before and after Biden on Afghanistan. Jen Psaki will no likey this book, but you will. BTW, the book is 95% bereft of any content. Just like Biden’s head.
