Laying your child to rest in the ground when they’ve barely begun their life is every parent’s biggest nightmare. Knowing it was murder — possibly preventable — must be absolutely soul-crushing.

As much as we might feel compassion for Gabby Petito and her family, there’s not much that can be done for them beyond support and condolences. But for whoever the next ‘Gabby’ out there might be, or the one after her, there’s still an opportunity to prepare yourself.

If the world is well on its way to morphing into a Mad Max dystopia, wouldn’t you rather your kid was a survivor instead of a statistic when the crud hits the fan?

Book learning is important, sure. But in a world that’s throwing off restraint, we need something else, too. We need to pump out a generation of girls equipped to come out of dicey situations with their body and soul still intact.

Better still, we want girls who can see that kind of trouble coming from a long way off and not fall into those traps in the first place.

That’s what this week’s show is all about.’s, Editor-In-Chief, Doug Giles how-to book:

Raising Righteous & Rowdy Girls

In ‘Raising Righteous and Rowdy Girls’, Doug Giles reinforces the notion that little women don’t need to be pampered by their fathers to turn out right. And having met his beautiful daughters, I know his philosophy works. As a strong-willed woman who thinks her daddy is the greatest guy in the world, I can tell you this is a must-read for every man who hopes to earn the same title. —-S.E.
