The radical left doesn’t just disagree with us… they loathe us and wish us personal harm.

Most of us on the right haven’t become so politically radicalized that we are unable to distinguish between a person, and any repugnant or odious political agendas they might want to push on the country, it’s harder and harder to find people on the left still able (or at least willing) to draw that distinction.

Here is an article where we contrasted our own well-wishes for RBG in her cancer treatment, against the cheering, jeering and celebration of the death of a public figure on the right. SCOTUS: Ruth Bader Ginsberg Just Had Another Cancer Scare… Here’s The Latest

However much we might have disagreed with certain of her policies or decisions, she is still owed the dignity of being a human being… and any time we are so wrapped up in our politics that we cannot wish life and happiness to a political rival, we have made an idol of our politics and have begun to lose sight of our own humanity.

The left’s love for RBG was fickle, though, when her ill-timed death came at a moment that threatened the left’s lock on political power.

While Trump, for all his usual bluster, was gracious in his reaction to her death… Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Dies At Age 87, the political left took it as a personal slight… including a f-bomb laced social media posts raging at her for the outrageous act of having died during a Republican president’s term, rather than retiring under Obama when raging liberals could have gotten their way. Ruth Bader Ginsburg Was A Hero To The Angry Leftists … But NOT For The BEST Reasons

Fast forward a year or so, and we have liberals practically wetting themselves with glee over how heavy-handed government Diktats will inconvenience the non-compliant, including ‘dishonorable discharge’ being the recommended response to anyone in military service who is unwilling to stick the needle in their arm.

They positively crow over lost livelihoods, and mock anyone they assume is a ‘Trump voter’ who dies of the virus… without knowing the first thing about them.

They cheered and jeered when an unarmed female vet was shot dead by a cop, because she was engaged in an act that supported the wrong cause. Her life meant nothing to them, and this was one of the few incidents of lethal police force where the cop wasn’t condemned in the court of public opinion even before the facts came out. When a government official tried to order her cremation contrary to the family’s wishes, the press didn’t even find that newsworthy.

See the pattern forming here? Lives matter only insofar as they further political power, political narratives, or some other political agenda. If you are on the wrong side of that ledger, you are a non-person and will be treated as such.

Few people are a bigger lightning rod for Democrat angst right now than Florida’s Governor, Ron DeSantis.

“As the mother of three young children, Casey is the centerpiece of our family and has made an impact on the lives of countless Floridians through her initiatives as First Lady,” the Republican governor said in a statement in which he called the first lady a “true fighter.”

“As she faces the most difficult test of her life, she will have not only have my unwavering support but the support of our entire family, as well as the prayers and well wishes from Floridians across our state,” he said.

So in light of Mrs DeSantis, a 41-yo mother of three receiving a cancer diagnosis, did they take the high road like we did for RBG with her cancer announcement? Or did they dance like ghouls at the unlikely prospect of someone they hate dropping dead?

You already know the answer to this one. Some took the high road, but many many others couldn’t resist the opportunity to rejoice at someone else’s suffering.

“I feel sorry for Casey DeSantis, not only to get such a horrible diagnosis but also face the prospect of Ron DeSantis choosing between (a) helping protect his wife’s immune system by wearing a mask; and (b) pandering to anti-maskers for his voracious political ambitions,” tweeted Canadian comedian Deven Green, who often performs as the character Mrs. Betty Bowers, “America’s Best Christian”.

“I wish Casey DeSantis well,” wrote another Twitter user claiming to be a “Front line ICU MP”. “I hope she is smart enough not to allow her husband treat her breast cancer with Ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine.”

…“My prayers go out to the families of the 50,000+ Floridians who have died from Covid because of desantis [sic],” still another Twitter user wrote. “Sorry I’m not wasting them on his wife”. —NYPost

If you wonder why the right refers to the hard left as a death cult… here’s your answer.

For all their endless preening about the priority of women’s health, when an actual woman has a health scare, their instinct is to kick her while she’s down.

How ’empathic’ and ‘compassionate’ of them.

Biblical Badasses: The Women

In Doug Giles’ latest book, Biblical Badasses: The Women, Giles spotlights ten epic ladies who did awesome things for God with the odds severely stacked against them. These girls weren’t your typical church ladies. They were holy movers and shakers who upset hell with their God-honoring, faith-filled, lives. Giles’ unique take on these terrific women makes the scripture come alive. This book is real, raw, relevant, and irreverent. Giles’ prayer is that after reading, Biblical Badasses: The Women, not only will your noggin be filled with these amazing tales of high and lows from real women who rocked in a hard place, via the power of God, but that you will get off your butt, quit pursuing stupidity, start chasing down your high calling and at the end of your life, you too, like the holy femme fatales featured herein, will have left a massive scar on Satan’s haggard backside.
