If The Heretic NY Gov Had Read Her Bible, She Would Never Have Made THIS Speech

Talk about failing upward. Between Cuomo’s massive failures as both a Governor and a basic human being, he was run out of office in disgrace. And now New York is stuck with this piece of work.
It takes a particular strain of self-righteous impiety to step up into a pulpit and spout secular talking points as though they are the voice of God.
It’s one thing to take a run at the political significance of a Governor doing her best impersonation of a cult leader. We did that in an earlier story about her. NY Gov Hochul Spits Pure Heresy In Her Religious Ravings About Vaccines (WATCH)
But theologically, it was a nightmare of a whole other kind.
Here’s the text of her speech so we can dissect it.
We have to get this community back. What we went through in this pandemic made us stronger, I believe that especially as I talk to young people who weren’t able to have their graduations from high school or a normal life for the last 18 months. I say to them, whatever comes your way in life you are stronger, you are more resilient, God let you survive this pandemic because wants you to do great things someday. He let you live through this when so many other people did not and that is also your responsibility.
But how do we keep more people alive? We are not through this pandemic. I wished that we were. But I prayed a lot during this time. And do you know what? God DID answer our prayers.
He made the smartest men and women, the scientists, the doctors, the researchers, he made them come up with a vaccine. That is from God to us. And we must say ‘thank you God, thank you’. And I wear my vaccinated necklace all the time to say ‘I’m vaccinated’.
All of you, yes, I know you’re vaccinated. You’re the smart ones. But you know there’s people out there who aren’t listening to God, and what God wants. You KNOW this. You know who they are.
I need you to be my apostles. I need you to go out and talk about it and say we owe this to each other, we love each other. Jesus taught us to love one another, and how do you show that love but to care enough about each other to say please get vaccinated? Because I love you, I want you to live. I want our kids to be safe when they’re in school. I want you to be safe when you are in a doctor’s office or a hospital and are treated by somebody. You don’t want to get the virus from them? You’re already sick or you wouldn’t be there.
We have to solve this my friends, I need every one of you. I need every one of you to let them know this is how we can fight this pandemic, come back to normal and then start talking about the real issues that we have to, fighting systemic racial injustice which exists today and if there’s a denier, I will take you on any day because I have seen it, I know it exists, and we are not going to have a blind eye to this ever again any longer under my watch and this is my commitment to you.
The Wrong Gospel
First off, she hijacked a pulpit to push her secular ‘gospel’…
For most Christians, the Good News that the world needs to hear centers on the finished work of Christ on the cross to redeem sinful humanity and restore to right relationship with God, with peace in this world, and eternal life in the next.
The Christian message is that Death is not The End. Many Christians in the past have not flinched from their faith even in the threat of death, because a resurrected Christ has already conquered death on our behalf… we’re just waiting for the consummation of the age.
She is taking to the pulpit to preach exactly the opposite message. To hear her tell it, death (namely death by COVID) is the greatest evil, and staving it off at any cost is the great task of our generation.
The Wrong Apostles
She gives the game away when she tries to hijack the Great Commission by claiming her Christian audience as ‘her apostles’.
I need you to be my apostles.
To any self-respecting and biblically literate Christian audience, those words should set off massive alarm bells. A faithful pastor with any stones would have given her the hook and unceremoniously thrown her out of the pulpit at that point, if not earlier.
Scripture makes it clear who it is that can claim exclusive ‘ownership’ of the apostles.
That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour — 2 Peter 3:2
Here’s another example…
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. –Rev 21:14
Is there anything in scripture about a different category of apostles?
Actually, yes. But she won’t like the comparison.
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. — 2 Cor 11:13-14
In this text, false apostles are closely tied to … Satan himself.
The Wrong Voice
She claimed to speak as the voice of God, and give directions to her audience about what they ‘must’ do because there was a vaccine.
The fact that we now have access to a vaccine doesn’t mean that God has given us a mandate from On High.
We also had access to Thalidomide. And Oxycodone. And DDT. And Asbestos. All of these were scientific marvels… until they weren’t.
Is it true that it is good and proper to thank God for such blessings (medical and otherwise) as He has given us? Sure. But it doesn’t follow that everyone needs to take it.
There are still some unpleasant unanswered questions with the effects during pregnancy for example. And experts tried to downplay the serious cardiac effects on healthy young males until they could no longer hide it.
Each person should talk with his or her own doctor, assess their own cost-benefit variables and make the most informed decision they can about their own situation.
If she thinks Christians are supposed to act on everything we hear from the pulpit, she hasn’t read her Bible.
The apostle John told us:
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. — 1 John 4:1
We are explicitly told to reject any counterfeit gospel…
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. —Gal 1:6-9
The Apostle Paul was so committed to this principle that when an audience held their judgment on what he had preached to them until AFTER they had a chance to measure what they heard him say against the Word of God… he praised them for it.
The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived they went into the Jewish synagogue. Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. Acts 17:10-11
Don’t settle for the counterfeit.
Go for the real deal.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive
Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
