Pelosi and the Democrat machine are used to running cutthroat Machiavellian schemes to railroad Republicans into giving them what they want. But when the obstacle is in their own party, they’re stumped.

Even in her own party, she’s playing both sides against the middle.

The ‘moderate’ legislation that was passed in the Senate is being held hostage by Pelosi until she can push that massive socialist wish list of hers through the House.

This is important because the hard left wing of her party (the Squad, and even Bernie himself) are opposed to letting the more modest and moderate infrastructure bill go through until AFTER they get their win with the debt bomb they are pushing.

Pelosi has been adamant that the two bills are not to be seen as separate entities, but as two parts of the same whole. She has been treating her 3-vote majority in the House as though it were a mandate and a super-majority to push the hardest-left agenda America has ever seen. She is trying to ‘fundamentally transform’ America in ways that cannot easily be reversed.

But Sinema isn’t dancing to Pelosi’s tune. She comes from the same Purple State that ‘Maverick’ John McCain came from, and she’s not putting her party allegiance first. She’s taking a stand that will cost Pelosi much-needed leverage that she’s using against the moderates in her party.

U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema, a key moderate, told fellow Democrats in the House of Representatives this week that she will not vote for a multitrillion-dollar package that is a top priority for President Joe Biden before Congress approves a $1 trillion infrastructure bill, according to a source briefed on the meeting. –Reuters

And just like that, Sinema has turned Pelosi and the Squad’s legislative ‘hostage crisis’ on its head.

‘I have already told the White House what I am willing to do and what I’m not willing to do. I’m not mysterious. It’s not that I can’t make up my mind. I’m communicating it to them in detail. They just don’t like that they’re hearing,’ she recently told a Senate Democratic colleague, who then told Politico’s Playbook about the conversation.

Now with a debt ceiling crisis waved off until early December, the White House and Congress’ full attention can return to crafting what’s in the reconciliation bill, which Biden has conceded will no longer have a pricetag of $3.5 trillion.

…’Manchin and Sinema want very different things, both in terms of revenue and programs,’ a souce close to Biden told Playbook. ‘If you just look at their currently presented red lines you wouldn’t have enough left to get this past progressives in the House and Senate. It wouldn’t raise enough money and it wouldn’t do enough big programs.’ —DailyMail

Is it any wonder her own principled stand isn’t getting the same accolades the media gave John McCain for bucking the party line? She’s concerned Pelosi’s bill will blow out the budget and create real harm to the US economy.

If the more modest infrastructure bill that DID have moderate support does pass, will Pelosi have enough carrots and sticks left in her toolbox to whip her $3.5 Trillion dollar monster across the finish line? Probably not.

Not so long ago Sinema was celebrated as an LGBT hero who had successfully turned her state blue, erasing a Republican lead in the Senate. But now, because she stands in the way of her agenda, the left hates her with the heat of a 1000 suns. DOJ Criminalizes PARENTS Protesting Schools While WH Defends Sinema’s Harassers

You don’t have to like her politics to love how she’s tying the Squad’s hard-left agenda in knots.

Sometimes, one person CAN make a difference. Which is the big takeaway in this wonderful book…
