This pandemic has elevated public health officials to celebrity status, and no one more so than Dr. Anthony Fauci.

As though having the highest-paid civil servant constantly on cable news isn’t enough, National Geographic made a Fauci-worshipping documentary on the man who fearmongered and bungled the handling of the AIDS crisis in the 1980s that caused unnecessary panic and death and is doing the same thing now.

Dave Rubin, YouTuber, podcaster, founder of Locals.com, and a member of the Blaze Network, recently received a swag box promoting the Fauci documentary.

He decided to open it up and see what was inside.

Here is the unboxing video:

So, to recap, inside the box were:

• Fauci mask
• Fauci fanny pack
• Fauci water bottle
• 2 bags of popcorn
• 2 large chocolate bars
• box of candy
• 2 Fauci cards
• a book about Fauci
• hair scrunchies

Whoever decided what goes into that box is so unbelievably clueless.

We know that obesity is a risk factor for the Wuhan Virus.

Back in March, a CDC study finds about 78% of people hospitalized for Covid in the U.S. were overweight or obese.

An overwhelming majority of people who have been hospitalized, needed a ventilator or died from Covid-19 have been overweight or obese, the CDC said in a new study Monday.

Among 148,494 adults who received a Covid-19 diagnosis during an emergency department or inpatient visit at 238 U.S. hospitals from March to December, 71,491 were hospitalized. Of those who were admitted, 27.8% were overweight and 50.2% were obese, according to the CDC report. Overweight is defined as having a body mass index of 25 or more, while obesity is defined as having a BMI of 30 or more.

The agency found the risk for hospitalizations, ICU admissions and deaths was lowest among individuals with BMIs under 25. The risk of severe illness “sharply increased,” however, as BMIs rose, particularly among people 65 and older, the agency said.

Just over 42% of the U.S. population was considered obese in 2018, according to the agency’s most recent statistics.

Fauci doesn’t say much about that, though. He talks about “mitigation” and “diminution” of the virus, masks, shots, but doesn’t actually talk about risk or natural immunity.

And he’s admitted he lied — not just about masks (and the jury’s still out on if those do as much as the “experts” say if you look at studies on mask mandates,) but he also admits he lied about masks after vaccination, that boosters would be required, and the percentage of the population that needs to be vaccinated in order to reach herd immunity.

He’s also pushed some rather unscientific ideas like masking kids and forcing vaccinated people to wear masks.

The left has propped up Fauci onto a pedestal and they can’t stop promoting him now. They’ve invested a lot into promoting Fauci and there’s a lot of sunk cost there in both time and money. It’s textbook commitment bias which is defined as the “tendency to remain committed to our past behaviors, particularly those exhibited publicly, even if they do not have desirable outcomes.” It’s caused by both self-justification and wanting to justify your actions to others.

Despite Fauci being wrong consistently during the pandemic, and his love of lockdowns, masks, and “mitigation measures” there is still a big chunk of the population that waits with bated breath to hear what he has to say. (Which I’m sure he approves since it temporarily reduces breathing.)

By the way, both National Geographic and Disney posted the trailer on YouTube and the trailer is getting downvoted pretty significantly.
