When the President was in Rome with an extended meeting with Pope Francis, #PoopyPantsBiden was trending on Twitter as a rumor spread that Biden had crapped his pants in front of the Pontiff and had to change.
That incident doesn’t appear to have been true, but the President did apparently break wind in front of the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker Bowles.
The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Charles, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge all attended COP26 as representatives of the Queen who chose not attend after undergoing recent medical tests and doctors recommended “light” duties for the 95-year old monarch.
The expelling of gas by the President occurred as Biden was chatting with Camilla at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery on Monday.
A source told the Mail on Sunday that it was “loud and long and impossible to ignore”, made the Duchess blush, and even though it’s been nearly a week, she can’t stop talking about it.
He is supposed to be committed to reducing emissions – but when President Joe Biden produced a little natural gas of his own at the COP26 summit, it was audible enough to make the Duchess of Cornwall blush.
An informed source has told The Mail on Sunday that Camilla was taken aback to hear Biden break wind as they made polite small talk at the global climate change gathering in Glasgow last week.
‘It was long and loud and impossible to ignore,’ the source said. ‘Camilla hasn’t stopped talking about it.’
The President met the Duchess during a reception on Monday at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, attended by Prince Charles, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Boris Johnson.
