Years of ‘Russian Collusion’ drumbeating led to Pulitzer Prizes being handed out for discredited news stories, endless investigations into Republicans and the Hillary Clinton misinformation book tour.
Now that the damage has been done, criminal investigations into the actual driver behind the Russia Collusion witch hunt are exposing crimes AND ‘Russian colluders’.
It just wasn’t the kind of ‘Russian Collusion’ Mueller spent upwards of $30 million in his efforts to expose. Which probably explains why he was unable to find it. It wasn’t the kind he was looking for because it implicates Clinton and government insiders in willful wrongdoing in setting up Trumpworld for a political hit job.
One might even consider this elaborate scheme to discredit Trump an … ‘insurance policy’.
Durham has spent the last few years looking into the origins of accusations that turned up bupkis… to the point that those of us on the right had written off any expectations that anyone would pay a legal or even political price for obvious wrongdoing.
But recently we’ve seen a few rays of hope.
In September, ClashDaily reported this cautiously optimistic update. DURHAM INVESTIGATION: Why Indictment Over Russia Collusion Hoax Might Actually Be GOOD News
Charges have now been laid against an actual Russian national who played a meaningful role in impacting American political events.
Plot twist, he was working on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s team.
What was that line Rachel Maddow liked to use about ‘tick… tick… tick….’?
The alleged main source for British ex-spy Christopher Steele’s discredited anti-Trump dossier was arrested on Thursday as part of special counsel John Durham’s criminal inquiry into the origins and conduct of the Trump-Russia investigation.
Igor Danchenko, a Russian-born lawyer who lives in the Washington, D.C., area, was taken into custody by federal law enforcement after being hit with charges in a newly-unsealed indictment obtained by Durham’s office.
The special counsel’s office said Danchenko had been charged “with five counts of making false statements to the FBI” that Durham for claims he made about the sources used in providing information to Steele for his “Company Reports,” which became the dossier. The indictment was returned on Wednesday, and Danchenko is slated to appear before a magistrate judge in the Eastern District of Virginia Thursday afternoon. — WashingtonExaminer
It’s not like the man was unknown to the FBI either. They had plenty of reason to doubt the legitimacy of the Russian collusion allegations long before Comey started that ball rolling in the Mueller investigation.
Durham discovered Danchenko was investigated by the FBI as a possible “threat to national security,” according to documents declassified by then-Attorney General William Barr and released in September 2020. The FBI’s “Crossfire Hurricane” team apparently became aware of this information by December 2016. — WashingtonExaminer
Does this mean that central players in the Clinton orbit will ever be held accountable for their wrongdoing? Maybe, maybe not.
But the more arrests and indictments we see of the collaborators, the more difficult it will make it for any future participants in this kind of dirty tricks in the future.
And if one of the accused ‘flips’ to save their own skin in the process? Well, so much the better.

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
