Not everyone on Team Biden is on the same page. Jennifer Granholm, for example, wandered away from the talking points and accidentally told the truth.

This is to be expected when you have a disconnect between your public position and your private agenda.

Joe Biden, while running for office, claimed to have ‘defeated socialism’ in the person of Bernie Sanders. In practice, he just disguised it behind the banality of a supposed moderate.

Precisely nothing about Joe’s time in office has been moderate. He broke promises made in the debate with Trump right from Day One when he started choking the life out of the energy industry.

When he took office in January, America had finally achieved the decades-long goal of energy independence, and Trump had taken advantage of the COVID-related drop in energy costs to top up the strategic reserves.

Joe promptly gave those advantages back.

From his first day in office, he began axing the XL Pipeline, blocking fracking, and creating relative hell for as much of the energy industry as his powers would permit. He’s now investigating Line 5 between Canada and Michigan which will have huge implications for local energy, including flights out of Detroit.

He wants to throw money at ‘infrastructure’ while forgetting that every product on our shelves gets there by some combination of air, rail, and road, and energy is one of the input costs that must be passed on to the customer. You don’t need to look further than the chaos earlier this year when an oil supply was compromised by a ransomware attack to know just how tied in our daily lives are to a stable energy supply. Biden is staring down rising fuel costs and refuses to reverse course on hamstringing the comparatively ethical home-grown energy solutions. He would rather depend on foreign sources like China and OPEC — places with far more dubious Environmental and Human Rights track records.

Now that energy prices are soaring in exactly the way people predicted, Joe is hard at work passing the buck.

Speaking at the White House, Mr. Biden said he wanted to address a “myth” that gas prices have climbed 61% in the past year because of his clean-energy agenda.

“They’re not due to environmental measures,” the president said. “My effort to combat climate change is not raising the price of gas … what it’s doing is increasing the availability of jobs.”

… “We’re taking action,” the president said. “Today we’re launching a major effort to moderate the price of oil.” He said the results, “ultimately reach your corner gas station, God willing. Our combined actions will not solve the problem of high gas prices overnight. It will take time, but before long you should see the price of gas drop where you fill up your tank.” — WashingtonTimes

How much of a ‘major effort’ was it exactly? A reporter followed up with Joe’s clueless Energy Secretary.

Granholm during a White House briefing Tuesday, outlined Biden’s strategy to release the barrels of oil currently held in the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve in order to maintain “adequate supply” amid global shortages and skyrocketing gas prices.

A reporter who was present for her remarks asked the energy secretary, “How many barrels of oil does the U.S. consume per day?”

“I don’t have that number in front of me. Sorry,” Granholm replied.

The reporter told Granholm that according to those numbers, the administration would be releasing “less than three days worth of supply from the Petroleum Reserve.”

Granholm nodded, dismissing the grim observation. — FoxBusiness

She knows how to parrot the talking points, praising Biden’s ‘commitment to using the tools available to bring down costs for working families and to continue our economic recovery.’ But when she goes off script, she gets into the weeds.

You can tell by the kind of slip she makes that her problem is that she forgets she’s talking to the public, and not to the hardened eco-activists who are friendly to her agenda.

For anyone confused as to how this could happen, the pain is the point. Never let a crisis go to waste.

‘This is a transition’ is not a throwaway phrase. They aren’t asking if you want to join them on their quest for a Green New Deal, they will drag you there kicking and screaming.

Their end-game is forcing us to comply with their agenda of switching to the kind of vehicles they approve of and abandoning the gas-powered ones we use now.

There’s one problem with their plan… the little people have been offered carrots, but the bastards are refusing to comply. So the default response is to pull out a stick so they can force our compliance to the demands of Mother Gaia. They WANT high fuel prices so that we need to switch, because they failed at convincing the public to embrace electric en masse.

(Exactly like their authoritarian approach to Mask Mandates, CRT, Federalizing the vote, and any number of other agendas they happen to be pushing.)

If they weren’t authoritarians they would find ways to make the choice more attractive and entice us to switch.

But there is no time for free will. They know better than the poor slobs they are intent on ruling over. They had set a timeline, and since the (in their eyes) stubborn, stupid American public has NOT been cooperating with their plan the choice will be taken from them.

This isn’t the first time she’s slipped, either. WAR ON ENERGY: Here’s Biden’s Timeline On Killing America’s Energy Industry

Taking on corruption like that is why God gave us a whole other, aggressive kind of prayer that you definitely were not taught about in Sunday school.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
