For four long years we’ve heard nothing but reports of Trump being Putin’s lapdog, while the media has actively suppressed evidence financially tying the Biden family to Chinese AND Russian governments.
Yet it was Trump who had the foresight to see that our country’s heavy reliance on technology in space — GPS and communication satellites, for instance — created a vulnerable link in our defense strategy that needed to be hardened.
How did the Democrats react to Trump’s creation of the Space Force? The same way they reacted to basically everything Trump has ever done, no matter how good it was for the nation, by condemning it and trying to erase it.
This week, a group of five Democrat lawmakers introduced a bill in the House of Representatives that would abolish the U.S. Space Force after just two years in operation.
The bill, titled the “No Militarization of Space Act” was introduced on Wednesday by Rep. Jared Huffman (D-CA) and was co-sponsored by Reps. Mark Pocan (D-WI), Jesús García (D-IL), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Maxine Waters (D-CA). The bill has the stated purpose “to abolish the Space Force as an Armed Force.”
“The long-standing neutrality of space has fostered a competitive, non-militarized age of exploration every nation and generation has valued since the first days of space travel,” Huffman wrote in a statement announcing his bill. “But since its creation under the former Trump administration, the Space Force has threatened longstanding peace and flagrantly wasted billions of taxpayer dollars.” — AmericanMilitaryNews
They’ve obviously forgotten that however pacifistic your intentions may be, in any conflict, the other guy also gets a say in whether you’re fighting.
The party who couldn’t go a single day without invoking Putin’s name has suddenly forgotten the entire notion of ‘National Interest’.
A Space Force general said American satellites are attacked by adversaries every day in ways that flirt with “acts of war,” and the US will lose a space arms race if it doesn’t take action.
China and Russia regularly strike US satellites with lasers, radiofrequency jammers, and cyber attacks, Gen. David Thompson told The Washington Post in an op-ed published Tuesday.
“The threats are really growing and expanding every single day. And it’s really an evolution of activity that’s been happening for a long time,” said Gen. Thompson, Vice Chief of Space Operations in the new military branch.
“We’re really at a point now where there’s a whole host of ways that our space systems can be threatened.”
Thompson disclosed a 2019 incident when a Russian satellite flew so close to a US “national security satellite” that authorities believed it could be an offensive. But the spacecraft backed away and tested a projectile, according to the op-ed. –NYPost
Democrats have money for everything but the military. And even their attacks on energy independence have direct consequences on our relationship with Russia.
The following citiation was from an Institute For Energy Research paper published in August 2021. The situation can’t possibly have gotten better since then.
At every turn, President Biden has instituted policies to hurt the North American oil and gas industry, resulting in decreasing U.S. energy independence earned during the Trump Administration and benefiting oil-producing countries. Russia, for example, has become the number two oil importer to the United States, second only to Canada. Biden has also canceled the Keystone XL pipeline while removing sanctions that the Trump Administration implemented so that Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline could supply Germany with natural gas later this year without going through Ukraine. Through Biden’s actions, Russia will be able to increase its energy revenues and improve its economy.
And reporting from as recent as yesterday shows Biden, personally, is doing his part to create an energy dependence in Europe that Putin can — and will — exploit for personal or political gain.
The contradictions in President Joe Biden’s Russia policy are coming into clear focus. While acting energetically to deter a major Kremlin invasion of Ukraine, the administration has been working overtime to send a gift to Moscow by trying to derail legislation that would stop the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in its tracks. —NewYorkPost
When Trump said ‘America First’, at least you know he wanted to see America succeed. It’s hard to say for sure WHAT Joe Biden’s end game is… other than to push through an FDR-level ‘BBB’ vanity project to make himself famous.
More likely, infamous, if it goes as badly as the rest of us expect.
Check out Doug’s latest book, The Art of Joe: The Political Brilliance of President Biden. If you have left-leaning family members, workmates, or classmates, to buy several copies and place them in common areas. Make sure you have your video camera ready for when they pick it up and thumb through it because they will be triggered which will make for a great viral video to share across social media. Also, buy a couple for the GOP NeverTrumpers that you know. Finally, both the book’s cover and the epilogue, Notable Quotable Joe are worth the price of admission. We’ve included before and after Biden on Afghanistan. Jen Psaki will no likey this book, but you will. BTW, the book is 95% bereft of any content. Just like Biden’s head.
