ABC’s Jon Karl called the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease “one of the hardest working human beings in America.”

This is shameful.

For nearly 2 years, Dr. Anthony Fauci has spent a whole lot of time in front of a camera lying to the American people and pushing authoritarianism for the “greater good.”

Sometimes, he called those lies “noble” — like the time he said that he was advising against widespread mask-use because there was a shortage of surgical and N95 masks and he thought that they should be reserved for healthcare workers. (That’s probably B.S., by the way. Fauci’s position was consistent with all of “The Science” about the efficacy of masks in preventing respiratory viruses prior to 2020.)

At other times, the things that Fauci advocates just go by the wayside or are memory-holed because they’re inconvenient.

For example… why aren’t people double-masking with this “highly transmissible Omicron variant” since Fauci said it was “common sense” to do so?

Even though Fauci has a record of being wrong throughout the pandemic, Karl gushed over him anyway, even noting that the octogenarian’s birthday was coming up.

KARL: Finally, I know you’re birthday is coming up — it’s Christmas Eve. You’re gonna be turning 81. I think you’re probably — for the last two years you’re one of the hardest working human beings in America. First of all, thank you for your service. But let me ask you, do you feel a responsibility to stay doing what you’re doing until this is truly under control? Like I said, I think you’re the hardest working person of any age — one of them — in the country.

FAUCI: Absolutely, Jon. There’s no doubt about it. This is the thing that I do, this is what I’ve been trained and experienced in doing my entire professional life. There’s no way I’m going to walk away from this until we get this under control. I mean, that’s the purpose of what we do. That’s — that’s — that’s our mission in life. In the middle of it I’m not going to walk away. We’re in a war, Jon, it’s kind of like we’re halfway through World War II and you decide, ‘Well, I think I’ve had enough of this, I’m walking away.’ You can’t do that. You’ve got to finish, and we’re going to finish this and get back to normal.

Gross.

That’s almost as embarrassing as that time that New York Times reporter Jeff Zeleny asked Obama what had “enchanted” him the most in his first 100 days as President.

Fan-girling like that isn’t professional, Jon. You’re supposed to be a journalist, not a fan hoping for an autograph!

Equating the desk job of the highest-paid bureaucrat in the country who has been taking up space and making bad decisions for 50 years with a distinct political agenda to a soldier who puts his own life on the line to fight for his country is just vile.

Especially since this Prevaricating Authoritarian Smurf’s high-handed proclamations to the lowly peasants on how they must live don’t consider things like… Constitutional Rights.

But Fauci runs with it and basically says, “Yeah, sitting here looking at charts and exchanging email plans on how to discredit detractors is totally the same as storming the beaches at Normandy.”

Some of the other highlights from the interview…

Get ready for the Biden-Harris administration to push more testing.

“What the government has been doing now, and you’re going to be seeing the result of that, is making an investment, literally billions of dollars, to get anywhere from 200 million to 500 million tests available per month,” said Fauci.

He also says that now that the vast majority of people in Western countries have been been given the shots that use the new mRNA technology with no long-term data, it’s time to finally focus on therapeutics. But of course, they’re not using anything repurposed, it’s the new drugs from Pfizer and Merck that will be approved for use.

“There are going to be a lot of people of high risk who are going to benefit greatly from having a pill that would dramatically diminish the likelihood they’re going to wind up in the hospital,” said Fauci.

Yeah, and how many people have died because the priority was on vaccines and not on treatment?

Saint Fauci — Peace Be Upon Him — says that you can still “feel comfortable about being able to enjoy” the holidays by mitigating your risks.

How do you mitigate that risk according to the Prevaricating Authoritarian Smurf? Why, vaccines, masks, distancing, and avoiding large gatherings that may include the kulaks dirty, dirty, unvaxxed people.

“If you are vaccinated and boosted and are prudent when you travel, when you’re in an airport to be wearing a mask all the time, you have to be wearing a mask on a plane. Do not do things like go to gatherings where there are people who you do not know what their vaccination status is,” said Fauci.

But wait… Fauci said (eventually) that masks would prevent spread (they don’t appear to in any significant way) and that the vaccines would pretty much end the pandemic, but they appear to be less effective at preventing spread, but more effective at preventing severe illness. But hey… get a booster and wear your mask!

Of course, Fauci had to find a way to blame the minority of Americans who are not vaccinated.

“It is certainly much more of a crisis of the unvaccinated,” said Fauci, “but there are other tools besides vaccine and wearing a mask [that] complements the protection that you get from the vaccine and a boost.”

Fauci added, “Nothing is 100% risk-free, but I think if you do the things that I just mentioned, you’d actually mitigate that risk enough to feel comfortable about being able to enjoy the holiday.”

Well, Merry Variant and a Happy New Booster to you!

Or — and hear me out here — you could not live in fear and take the precautions you think are best for you and your family.

It’s no secret that people are cowering with fear these days. But those of us with faith know that living your life in fear is crap. Let’s get that message out there.

We’re living in a time where fear is running rampant and unchecked.

It seems like most public policy is based on fear these days, especially when it comes to the Wuhan Virus.

2 Timothy 1:7 says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

It seems that a LOT of people have completely forgotten that message.

Let’s give them a reminder…
