The narrative is shifting and the Corporate Media are soon going to insist that no one ever suggested cloth masks worked. Wait for it.
On Tuesday, former head of Planned Parenthood turned CNN medical analyst, Dr. Leana Wen, admitted on the air that cloth masks don’t work to stop the spread of the Omicron variant, they didn’t work with Delta, or any of the previous variants because the virus is airborne.
Wen doesn’t say anything about the original SARS-CoV-2 virus — often referred to as “wild type” — presumably because at the time, it was being reported that the virus spread through droplets and was not believed to be airborne. Whether the medical “experts” actually believed that is a very different story. The “experts” like NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci have said one thing on camera and quite another to people close to them.
In an email exchange with Obama’s HHS Secretary, Fauci admitted that masks “don’t really work.”
At the time, Fauci was saying the same thing to the American people. He now contends that this was one of those “noble lies” that was meant to preserve masks for healthcare workers in the midst of a global shortage. However, the belief that masks don’t stop aerosolized viruses is also consistent with more than 100 years of study in infectious diseases.

The green-lighting of cloth masks and universal masking seemed to be more about the need to do something however pointless it may be in order to avoid mass panic.
It’s been almost two years and the virus spreads in places with mask mandates and those without. It’s pretty clear that if masks work at all to “slow the spread” the level of protection is low. And don’t forget — it’s quite easy to with the constant shifting goalposts — that masks are worn to stop the asymptomatic spread of the disease, not to protect healthy individuals from contracting the virus. This is why many conservatives rolled their eyes with mask mandates early on when cloth masks were recommended.
The clip of Wen was quickly spread by right-wingers on Twitter with massive platforms like Clay Travis, who has been saying the same thing that Wen just said for nigh unto two years now.

Travis co-hosts the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show that has taken the timeslot of the late, great Rush Limbaugh. Sexton has stated repeatedly on the show that he’s been “fact-checked” on social media for posting comments and citing studies that say precisely what Wen said on Tuesday on CNN.
This isn’t the first time that Wen has stated on-air that cloth masks don’t work. A few days before Christmas, while fearmongering over the (still) mild Omicron variant, Wen said that cloth masks are “little more than facial decorations.”

Now, CNN is suggesting that you “upgrade” to an N95 respirator or a KN95 mask which both need to be properly fitted and are difficult to wear for long periods of time.

But here’s the thing… cloth face coverings were recommended by the “medical experts” for almost two years.
The CDC still has a section on its website on how to choose a cloth face covering, and why N95 respirators and surgical masks should be reserved for healthcare workers.
You can watch the Diminutive Authoritarian Smurf considered a Saint by leftists, Dr. Fauci, Peace Be Upon Him, move the goalposts on mask use in the following clip on 60 Minutes. In it, he specifically says that cloth face-coverings — not surgical masks or the N95s — work.
In March, Dr. Fauci was criticized for comments he made to 60 Minutes, downplaying the need for mask wearing in public.

And let’s not forget, all of the top “medical experts” made sure that they were seen wearing cloth “facial decorations” including the Director of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention Rochelle Walensky and Saint Fauci, P.B.U.H.
While Walensky seems to have adhered to the “little black dress” philosophy when choosing a cloth mask…
…Fauci seems to prefer to add a little flamboyance to his wardrobe.
But it wasn’t just the virtue signaling with the obedience cloths — the former CDC director told the Senate that masks were better protection than a vaccine which was designed to prepare your immune system to fight off the virus. Riiight.
But then, a disturbing number of these public health officials don’t seem to be… well. Mentally.

These are the people advising politicians on how to make decisions on policies that we are forced to follow.
This is how we got mask mandates and social distancing, and a massive number of paranoiacs who can no longer assess risk.
It’s unlikely that the broken masses are going to take kindly to the sudden banishing of their beloved cloth face-coverings.

It’s no secret that people are cowering with fear these days. But those of us with faith know that living your life in fear is crap. Let’s get that message out there.
We’re living in a time where fear is running rampant and unchecked.
It seems like most public policy is based on fear these days, especially when it comes to the Wuhan Virus.
2 Timothy 1:7 says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
It seems that a LOT of people have completely forgotten that message.
