Was it Anthony Fauci or Ebenezer Scrooge who said, “Every idiot who goes about with ‘Merry Christmas’ on his lips, should be boiled with his own pudding, and buried with a stake of holly through his heart.'”
It was clearly the classic Dicken’s character Ebenezer Scrooge at the beginning of the tale when he was a hard-hearted miser who didn’t consider anyone but himself and his profits.
Dr. Anthony Fauci wouldn’t imagine being so charitable with a highly-mutated “Variant Of Concern” of the SARS-CoV-2 virus running rampant.
Instead, Fauci seems to be channeling Shakespeare’s Richard III who said, “Now is the winter of our discontent” — and by “our” he clearly means the unvaccinated.
On Tuesday, Fauci was in his favorite place on the planet — in front of a television camera — and he told the MSNBC host that the unvaxxed should be shunned from holiday gatherings because they could put the vaccinated at risk simply by being present.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top US expert on infectious disease, has urged Americans to disinvite unvaccinated people from Christmas gatherings as the fast-spreading COVID-19 Omicron variant fuels a surge in infections nationwide.
‘We’re dealing with a serious enough situation now that if there’s an unvaccinated person, I would say, ‘I’m very sorry, but not this time. Maybe another time when this is all over,” said Fauci in an interview with MSNBC on Tuesday night.

Newsflash to Fauci, some people don’t get a “next time.” There are no guarantees in life, and telling people to just suck it up and celebrate next Christmas because there’s a virus that appears to be no worse than the flu going around is cruelty beyond words.
Besides, Fauci clearly doesn’t realize how much of an “anti-vax” message this is by questioning the efficacy of vaccines.
We’re not in December 2020 anymore with brand new vaccines that we don’t know much about. We’ve learned a lot in the past year.
During the rollout, the vaccine manufacturers and the “medical experts” all said that vaccines would give almost 100% protection from contracting the illness. That clearly wasn’t true, and we now know that protection wanes over time. Fair enough, there wasn’t time to get any long-term data because there was a rush to get the vaccines out. We also know that there are risks to taking the vaccine, slight though they may be. We also know that the double-jabbed don’t get as severely ill if they do contract the virus. Doesn’t that count for something?
Surely we can have honest discussions about the ability to assess risk now, right?
Not if you’re Tony Fauci or the Biden-Harris administration. Instead, you’re going to blame the rise in cases on the unvaccinated and encourage segregation. At Christmas.

Meanwhile, in New York, the dire predictions that Omicron cases were going to “overwhelm” hospitals aren’t panning out, even though NYC recorded its highest daily COVID case count of the entire pandemic on December 16. While there is a lag between cases and hospitalizations, things seem to be fine so far.
The president of one of New York’s largest hospital systems has said that the Omicron surge is not straining his facilities, even as 8 percent of the NYPD had to call in sick on Tuesday and a major urgent care center announced it would have to shut 13 of its locations due to overwhelming demands for tests.
‘We’re doing very, very well, very manageable. There’s no crisis,’ Michael Dowling, the CEO of Northwell Health, told CNN’s John Berman on Tuesday.
He noted that there are now 460 patients in its 23 hospitals, which is less than 10 percent of its overall capacity. But at the same time last year, during COVID’s second wave, the hospital system saw nearly 1,000 cases, and back during the first wave it had 3,500 patients.

Cases in South Africa are already dropping. Omicron cases have fell for the fourth day in a row, and hospitalizations have been “hovering at below 400 per day, on average, and dropped by 5 per cent in a week yesterday,” according to the Daily Mail.
A new study from South Africa also shows that people who contract the Omicron Variant are significantly less likely to require hospitalization than those who contracted the Delta Variant.
People who catch Omicron are 80 per cent less likely to be hospitalised than those who get Delta, a major study from South Africa suggests.
The real-world analysis, of more than 160,000 people, comes ahead of a similar UK Government report expected to show Britons are also less likely to be severely ill with the variant.
Omicron sufferers were also 70 per cent less likely to be admitted to ICU or put on a ventilator compared to those with Delta, according to the study led by South Africa’s National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD).
South African doctors have insisted for weeks that Omicron is milder since raising the alarm about it on November 24 and accused the UK of panicking about Omicron.

Omicron seems to be mild, appears to be highly transmissible, and most people will contract it whether they’re vaccinated or unvaccinated — but they won’t get severely ill. Isn’t that a good thing? Wouldn’t that give people natural immunity — the thing that the vaccines try to replicate?
Could it be because the NIH has ties to the invention of the Moderna vaccine and is co-owner of the patent? There is a financial incentive for the NIH to force everyone to get jabs and boosters — especially of the Moderna shot.
Or is the problem that if the pandemic ends, we won’t have the need for Little Lord Fauci to be hosted on leftwing outlets 24/7 giving his dire, end-time warnings, gaslighting you, and telling you that your “individual spirit” is dangerous for public health?
Perhaps that’s it.
After all, this guy is so arrogant, he claims that criticism of his (often very wrong) statements is questioning science itself.
Segregating people because of their personal medical decisions over a virus that is not deadly for more than 99% of the population is asinine.
My family and friends are welcome into my home vaxxed or unvaxxed because they’re my family and friends.
