Comedian J.P. Sears has knocked one out of the park yet again.
Have you wondered what goes through the minds of leftist mayors who are turning big cities into something that looks like a third-world slum or a burned-out Mad Max-style dystopia?
Well, wonder no longer.
J.P. Sears has created a 10-minute satirical video that explains things from a liberal mayor’s perspective.
The popular YouTuber with over 2 million followers posted a video on January 1 that hilariously parodies the blatant hypocrisy and lunatic “logic” that seems to plague the leaders of these deep-blue cities.
It touches on issues from the “woke” perspective:
- pronouns
- homelessness
- shoplifting
- subtle namedrop of one particular high-profile leftwing billionaire
- policing
- rise in crime
- bigotry
- COVID-19
- Black Lives Matter
- “Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity” (DIE)
- essential services
- the Unvaxxed

The wokerati screwing up big cities need people to mock them like this.
The problem is that these “woke” policies are everywhere — from public safety to public health, and energy policy to education, the woke fingerprint is everywhere and it’s been disastrous.
As former President Trump said at an Alabama rally in August 2021, “Everything ‘woke’ turns to sh!t.”
He’s not wrong.
Recently, we have seen that some of these leftwing mayors that were big advocates of “defunding” the police have reversed course once the results of their “humane” policies were being endured by people — a significant rise in violent crime and theft.
Let’s hope they realize that the same is true with most of their other beloved policies before people are harmed and it’s too late to reverse course.
