Three corrections officials and four youths were taken to the hospital from the Northwest Ohio Juvenile Detention Training and Rehabilitation Center in Stryker after detainees collapsed.
Fentanyl was found in the ventilation system, but officials did not offer any answers for how it could have gotten there.
The remaining juveniles at the facility were then transferred to the adult detention facility while crews investigated.
Deputy Lehman says they will remain at the adult facility, separated from the adult detainees, until other arrangements can be made.
The Northwest Ohio Juvenile Detention Center “provides a safe and secure placement for delinquent youth who are being detained in accordance to a court order or pursuant to the laws of arrest,” according to their website. —WTOL
This seems a good time to remember the fact that fentanyl deaths are skyrocketing.
Fentanyl mostly comes into America over the Mexican border, from drug cartels, and a lot of that fentanyl is made in China.
At what point will we realize that there’s a real crisis that needs addressing, and that we need to start protecting American citizens from unsavory people who mean us harm?
After the mid-term elections, perhaps?
Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.
Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.
This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
