WATCH: ER Doc Admits That He Was WRONG About Lockdowns And APOLOGIZES To Colleagues

A doctor actually admits that he was wrong about public health measures imposed because of COVID and actually says that he’s sorry. How refreshing!

Dr. Joseph Fraiman, an Emergency Room physician, offered an incredibly rare apology for not recognizing earlier that there were negative consequences caused by the lockdowns.

Here’s a transcript of a portion of Dr. Fraiman’s comments.

DR. FRAIMAN: And then I realized something that I kind of ignored, you know, that much of the people here have brought up and discussed, which is that these policies were harmful. Initially, I was — I don’t want to say I was ignorant, but I was — it was irrelevant because there were lives on the line. I’m an emergency doctor. There’s lives and it’s like, “No, we have to do it.” But, if the policies didn’t make a big difference, and they only caused harm, then you have to start rethinking what we’re doing.

And you have to take the data that is clearly in front of us and if it’s only causing harm and at best can only save few, we need to think about it. Because — at best, right — an aggressive lockdown policy imagine it reduced hospitalizations, death by 20%. Twenty percent of deaths, hospitalizations reduced — if that was the case, then maybe we could come here and debate, “is the harms that are caused by the lockdowns worth that benefit?” And how do we negotiate that benefit through, you know, navigating through our freedoms? But the reality is that hospitalizations and deaths were not reduced by 20% by any policies. Because if they were, we would have had studies at this point that would have been able to consistently identify that and that just has not occurred at all. So, I think as a society we have to decide if we want to continue a public policy that is obviously producing large harm, and off only a minimal benefit at best that is currently unmeasurable.

Also, personally, I would like to apologize to the three other scientists sitting with me here on Zoom — the proponents of the Barrington Declaration. Because I — initially, I did think that y’all were crazy. Or dumb. Or maybe you just didn’t understand what I was seeing… but I now realize, actually. I’m sorry because I believe now that you guys were correct, and you were correct from the beginning. And I wish that more people, including myself, had realized that sooner. And I hope that more people realize that soon enough.

Trust in public health would increase if we had a few more people willing to admit that they were wrong and acknowledge that these policies were harmful in a variety of ways.

The comments were made via Zoom at the conference “The Curtain Close on COVID Theater” hosted by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Monday. Some panelists were in-person in West Palm Beach, Florida, while many attended virtually to discuss the devastating effects of lockdowns and insist that they never be imposed again.

“Over the past two years, the data has shown us what works and what doesn’t work. It is long past time to stop the COVID Theater,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “In Florida, we told the truth, we let the data drive our response, and we let Floridians make decisions for themselves and their children. As a result, Florida is in a better spot than states who used fear mongering and mandates.”

“Under the leadership of Governor DeSantis, Florida has continued to stay ahead of the federal government by following sound science – not coercion,” said Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo. “Today, we were able to bring doctors from around the world to discuss COVID-19 and the lack of data to support mandates. Scientific debate takes place in a public forum – it is not hidden in federal bureaucracy. We need to get back to living – not hiding in fear.”

“It was Governor DeSantis who led the nation prioritizing seniors, followed the data for businesses to remain open, and children to attend school in person, recognizing how little their risk was,” said Lieutenant Governor Jeanette Nuñez. “While the Biden Administration criticizes our response to COVID-19, Florida remains to be the envy of the nation.”

“The lockdowns were an enormous catastrophic mistake that should never be repeated,” said Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Health Policy, Stanford University Medical School. “When we think about lockdowns, we should recoil with horror because the policies we followed have violated not just medical ethics, but also crushed the ability for scientists to discuss openly with each other facts and evidence. It’s taken a great amount of effort and willingness to face abuse in order for scientists to speak up and many have been silenced. I think [we need] the restoration of the freedom for scientists to discuss with one another openly what the evidence actually says without fear of repression that we’ve seen during the pandemic in order to support the lockdowns. I think that the proper place of science in society needs to be restored so that scientists can advise, but not dictate policy.”

The mask-loving, vaccine-pushing Fauci-worshippers aren’t going to like that conference very much. It exposes that they’ve been wrong consistently for two years and that the “medical consensus” isn’t universal.

How many lives have been lost and how many others have been altered forever because of the authoritarian lockdown measures that didn’t work as promised?

And yet, many of these “public health experts” are just itching to bring them back as soon as they think they can.

If they try, we’ve all got to say, “Hell No!”
