Would You Let Will Smith Slap You?

There’s been plenty of ink spilled about the ‘slap heard round the world’, but there’s one angle hardly anyone has weighed in on.

Everyone and their dog has an opinion on whether or not Chris Rock was out of line for dropping a bald-headed wife joke.

And if you had a nickel for every opinion about Will Smith standing up to defend the ‘honor’ of a woman who had publicly cuckolded him with those nasty ‘entanglements’ not so long ago, you could probably pay off the national debt.

But what about Chris Rock’s response in those critical few moments between when he popped off with his joke and when Will smoked him in the face?

Would you just stand there and take it?

Would you defend yourself?

Would you knock Will flat on his back?

And how do you know if the fight is worth the trouble? When is it better just to walk away?

We kick those questions and others like them around in today’s show.

Enjoy!

While you’re at it, here’s his latest book:

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
