An elementary school in Texas was the latest soft target selected by a guy with murder on his mind.
After shooting his own grandmother, an 18yo Uvalde high school student drove to Robb Elementary School in Uvalde Texas. Once there, he started shooting. This was the last decision he would make in his short life.
The coward had crashed his car on campus and engaged police in a shoot-out before running into the school. He was wearing body armor at the time. Once he was inside, things quickly went bad for those unsuspecting students and teachers.
The death toll from Tuesday’s Uvalde school shooting in Texas is 19 children and two teachers.
The latest figures come from Travis Considine, a spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety. The gunman also died, while the total number of victims wounded remains unclear.
The two adults who were killed, both teachers, have been identified by family members as Irma Garcia and Eva Mireles, the latter of whom was a teacher for 17 years. — NBCNY
Gov Abbott has directed flags to be lowered to half staff throughout Texas.
The killer, reportedly, is a US citizen. Don’t expect the media to mention the ethnicity of the shooter. If they could work the white supremacy angle, they have a long track record proving that they would.
But the media has been denied the opportunity to play that card in the telling of this story. This time, anyway.
