All of a sudden publishing reports using “hacked materials” is fine with Twitter again, the left is shouting “my body, my choice,” and calling for a revolution is cool.

This is all coming from the people who insisted that they were “protectors of democracy” and stalwart defenders of the country’s institutions against the threat of the Bad Orange Man who had the gall to appoint 3 Justices to the Supreme Court.

A bombshell leak from the highest court in the land shook the nation on Monday evening.

Politico reported that a leaked draft of the SCOTUS decision on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health written by Justice Samuel Alito reveals that the court has voted to strike down Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey in a 5-4 decision.

The document was written in February and it’s important to note that the vote count could change — the votes aren’t set in stone until the Court releases the official decision.

The draft document is almost 100 pages long with extensive footnotes.

The Alito draft blasts the 1973 Court’s decision that made abortion legal in the United States. Many legal scholars on both sides of the issue have said that the 1973 Court’s decision was a poor legal decision.

The draft pulls no punches.

The draft opinion is a full-throated, unflinching repudiation of the 1973 decision which guaranteed federal constitutional protections of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision – Planned Parenthood v. Casey – that largely maintained the right. “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito writes.

“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” he writes in the document, labeled as the “Opinion of the Court.” “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”

Deliberations on controversial cases have in the past been fluid. Justices can and sometimes do change their votes as draft opinions circulate and major decisions can be subject to multiple drafts and vote-trading, sometimes until just days before a decision is unveiled. The court’s holding will not be final until it is published, likely in the next two months.

Ten highlights of from Alito’s draft can be read here.

If the Court overturns Roe and Casey, the decision to legalize abortion would rest with the states which is where many believe that it should be.

Politico published all 98 pages of the draft here.

To paraphrase the President, “This is a big effing deal.”

Just as much of an issue as the decision itself is the outrageous leak, who did it, and for what purpose.

Politico published a separate article on how unprecedented this particular leak of a draft decision is and how rare leaks from SCOTUS occur.

There are several theories circulating on social media:

  • intimidate one of the 5 Justices to change their vote
  • foment division and public outrage in order to drive support for Democrats before the 2022 midterms
  • distract from Biden’s failings on every front

A suspect has surfaced on social media, but it is unconfirmed if this is the leaker.

Meanwhile, Libs are losing their minds over not being able to freely murder children in the womb.

Barricades had to be quickly set up in front of the Supreme Court building as the inevitable protest began.

They’ve suddenly forgotten that they were against bodily autonomy when it came to vaccine mandates and supported the decisions of “sacred institutions” just a couple of years ago.

Several Democrat lawmakers came out swinging immediately insisting that Roe must be enshrined in law at the federal level and the need to eliminate the filibuster in order to do it.

On Monday, President Biden issued a statement echoing the same sentiment.

So the same people that can’t define what a woman is are going to staunchly defend the rights of “pregnant people” to murder children in the womb.

Buckle up, this one is going to be a bumpy ride!

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
