One Trump Witchhunt Ends Just As Another Begins … Exactly As Media Matters Wanted It

In about April of 2016, the left transitioned from treating Trump as a novelty to be laughed at to a serious threat who must be destroyed. Trump has always called it a ‘witchhunt’ and the evidence of him being right is piling up.

These two grand jury investigations may seem like seperate events. But once you take a step back, and tie it to official Democrat sources, they both fit neatly within a much larger big-picture politics of personal destruction strategy. One they were kind enough (and arrogant enough) to put in print.

The Framers envisioned an America that worked differently from what today’s language would call the modern police state. They envisioned a system in which the government would be prevented from marking a political enemy for destruction and before having any specific criminal charges to hit them with.

In America, the justice system is designed to investigate individualcrimal acts rather than individual people. Trump is just one glaring example of how that process and those protections have long since been subverted by a political agenda.

The small picture: endless investigations into Trump

In New York, one Attorney General ran for election on the explicit promise that she would unleash the government’s resources to target a particular American citizen for wave after wave of criminal investigation.

Hers is the language of an authoritarian police state. She made good on that promise of trying to destroy Trump. But like others before him, she wasn’t able to deliver on the promise of proving he was a criminal.

A special grand jury that had been hearing evidence in the criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump expires at the end of the week and will not be extended, sources familiar with the matter confirmed to ABC News.

The special grand jury was empaneled last fall, but had stopped hearing evidence once Alvin Bragg became district attorney in Manhattan in January, raising questions about the strength of the case and whether prosecutors had amassed all the elements required to prove it. —ABCNews

The Grand Jury that was called together in an effort to destroy Trump has come up empty.

You might imagine that after over $30 Million dollars of government investigations into every aspect of Trump’s private life they would have already dug up any skeletons he might have lurking in his closet right now.

Does that mean they’re calling of the dogs? Of course not.

Just because that door has closed doesn’t mean she’s giving up. Not at all. The New York Post suggests James’s next play will be to hit Trump with a civil suit along similar lines to the criminal allegations.

With characteristically suspicious timing, just as this Grand Jury investigation into Trump is wrapping up, the left is launching another one. This time it’s building on the Jan 6 narrative that Democrats have been so desperately pushing.

Beating the drum of the Jan 6 narrative is the ace in the hole Dems are hoping to pull out of their sleeve to save their party from a historic defeat in the November midterms. Georgia prosecutors are picking up on the ‘election interference’ narrative and opening an investigation into Trump.

Just like Crossfire Hurricane, the Mueller Report, Impeachment 1.0, Impeachment 2.0, Trump Tower, Alfa Bank, and any number of other ‘gotcha moments’ weaponized against the 45th President since he became the official rival to Hillary Clinton, this is investigation is a bad faith attempt to hamstring a political rival and potentially shift the results of an election.

Here’s what ClashDaily published about that call on Jan 4. WAPO Misled About What Trump Said On The Raffensperger Call — Here’s The FULL Audio

Here is a screenshot of the official article of impeachment explicitly using that phone call as a key piece of evidence in the attempt to destroy the life and legacy of a sitting president.

Outlets like ours were able to geth the story right, but the mighty WaPo took two whole months to issue a mea culpa. Long after the political damage was done and the apology was meaningless. Democracy Dies In Darkness: WaPo Issues Correction TWO MONTHS After Publishing Fake Trump Quotes Cited By Other Media Outlets

Part of that belated correction included admission that they had gotten the quote wrong, that Trump did NOT insist that fraud be found, only that the ballots be duly and properly scrutinized. Headline and text have been correct to remove quotes attributed to Trump.

Uh-huh. It’s just crazy how these ‘honest mistakes’ always seem to benefit the same political agenda, isn’t it?

Georgia has now launched a Grand Jury based on that same discredited phone call.

The probe employing the grand jury, seated in Atlanta, is seen by some observers as representing the biggest threat of criminal prosecution that Trump currently faces.

While still president, and waiting for Congress to confirm President Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory, Trump, in a Jan. 2, 2021, phone call, urged Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” him enough votes to overturn Biden’s win in that state.

That phone call — and contacts other people made with the state’s attorney general and a top federal prosecutor in Georgia — are being eyed in the criminal investigation. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is overseeing the probe. —CNBC

If it ever went to trial, you could literally use the WaPo correction as part of the legal defense to discredit the allegations.

The Big Picture — Their detailed plan to destroy President-elect Trump

This was never about punishing criminal behavior. This is about punishing political opponents.

How do we know? Because Hillary Clinton’s close associate put the entire strategy in print, in a document that still addressed Trump as ‘president-elect’, they told us what they were going to do. The document, one often cited here at ClashDaily, is called Media Matters War Plan 2017, by David Brock. The subtitle was ‘David Brock’s 49 page war manual for defeating the American right.’

There were four Democrat Agencies named in that document. Each was tasked with playing some specific underhanded politcal tricks to help Dems gain power. Those groups were Media Matters, American Bridge, CREW, and ShareBlue.

Here are a couple of screenshots highlighting aspects of the grand vision of this war plan for defeating the American Right.

Maybe some these tactis ring a few bells?

Media Matters:

In the next four years Media Matters will continue its core mission of disarming right-wing misinformation, while leading the fight against the next generation of conservative disinformation: The proliferation of fake news and propaganda nwo threatening the country’s information ecosystem. Here’s what success will look like.

– Serial misinformers and right-wing propagandists inhabiting everythin from social media to the highest levels of government will be exposed, discredited.
– Internet and social media platforms, like Google and Facebook will no longer uncritically and without consequence host and enrich fake news sites and propagandists
– Toxic alt-right social media-fueled harassment campaigns that silence dissent and poison our national discourse will be punished and halted.

American Bridge:

Even before Trump had been sworn in, there was already a conspiracy — in writing, no less! — to impeach him.

CREW

Leading ‘nonpartisan’ watchdog was committed to generating a steady drip of damaging information against Trump, with an explicit objective of generating criminal investigations against a political enemy.

Shareblue

Their job was to make social media a sanctuary for the left and a hostile environment for the right.

Look at changes in social media, the narrative, cancel culture, and even words like ‘disinformation’ that we’ve seen in the last few years.

No wonder they are panicking with Elon Musk’s interest in making Twitter a place for free speech.

No wonder they suddenly think they need HHS monitoring (there’s that word again!) misinformation.

And remember how angry they got when Trump tagged CNN as ‘fake news’? It isn’t because of a ‘war on journalism’. It’s because Trump beat them to the punch and turned their own strategy against the ‘wrong’ news outlets.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
