Why fight fair when it’s so easy to fight dirty? Dems tried to use the courts to destroy a rival they might be unable to defeat in a fair fight at the polls.
As a twist of the knife, it is being used as a way to give the complicit media a reason to keep talking about Jan 6. Something that the planned Jan 6 Committee hearings will keep doing as we continue our march toward midterms.
That doesn’t mean these hearings have all been going the way Dems want them to go.
Marjorie Taylor Green is a case in point.
Activist Dems used lawfare tactics in an attempt to disqualify a Republican opponent from the 2020 race. They tried to invoke the 14th Amendment and accuse her of having been a participant in an ‘insurrection’.
A judge in Georgia on Friday found that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-Ga.) can run for reelection, rejecting arguments from a group of voters who had challenged her eligibility over allegations that she engaged in insurrection. But the decision will ultimately be up to Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
State Administrative Law Judge Charles Beaudrot announced his decision after a daylong hearing in April that included arguments from lawyers for the voters and for Greene, as well as extensive questioning of Greene herself.
State law says Beaudrot must submit his findings to Raffensperger, who has to decide whether Greene should be removed from the ballot. —TheHill
Here she is celebrating the win by posting the decision:

What the screaming libs who cry foul don’t seem to understand is that there is (and ought to be) a high burden of proof needed for anyone to legally disqualify a candidate by this particular standard.
Her accusers failed to meet that threshhold. They can cry ‘treason’ all they want but it remains nothing more than an unproven allegation that carries no legal weight.
In Doug Giles’ latest book, Biblical Badasses: The Women, Giles spotlights ten epic ladies who did awesome things for God with the odds severely stacked against them. These girls weren’t your typical church ladies. They were holy movers and shakers who upset hell with their God-honoring, faith-filled, lives. Giles’ unique take on these terrific women makes the scripture come alive. This book is real, raw, relevant, and irreverent. Giles’ prayer is that after reading, Biblical Badasses: The Women, not only will your noggin be filled with these amazing tales of high and lows from real women who rocked in a hard place, via the power of God, but that you will get off your butt, quit pursuing stupidity, start chasing down your high calling and at the end of your life, you too, like the holy femme fatales featured herein, will have left a massive scar on Satan’s haggard backside.
