Unusual Cluster Of Navy Brass Firings … Is Biden Resuming Those Obama-Era Purges?

For a guy who pretended to care so much about the military, his record as Commander-in-Chief leaves a lot to be desired.

One guy from the Space Force got axed for denouncing … wait for it … Communism.

When a Marine Lt. Col said leadership should have told Biden ‘No’ over the horrific handling of Biden’s Escape From Afghanistan that left 13 Americans dead and many others wounded, he got the ax… AND the brig.

Biden is throwing billions of dollars at pet projects, with every department getting a pay increase except the military which — factoring inflation — is receiving a pay cut.

Under Biden, we are now officially decommissioning ships faster than we are building new ones… despite having far fewer ships in the Navy than our occupational minimum.

Add to that the discharge of anyone who didn’t get poked with an unproven vaccine, which even the experts who support the vax program will not claim that it prevents infection or transmission of the virus.

These factors, taken together, sure don’t paint a picture of Biden having maximum combat readiness as his topmost priority for America’s fighting forces, do they?

Remember Biden’s first stint in the White House? His old boss gave us ‘sequestration’ and notorious purges of the top brass. Purges that were attributed by some as the deliberate politicization of our military leadership to align with Obama’s Progressive agenda.

As of 2013, there was already a tally of almost 200 officers who had been shown the door.

From Breitbart.com’s Facebook page comes a list of at least 197 officers that have been relieved of duty by President Obama for a laundry list of reasons and sometimes with no reason given. Stated grounds range from “leaving blast doors on nukes open” to “loss of confidence in command ability” to “mishandling of funds” to “inappropriate relationships” to “gambling with counterfeit chips” to “inappropriate behavior” to “low morale in troops commanded.”

Nine senior commanding generals have been fired by the Obama administration this year, leading to speculation by active and retired members of the military that a purge of its commanders is under way. —Investors

Loss of confidence is a handy catch-all that might mean anything from drunk driving to ‘I don’t like your face’.

Yesterday’s news included this story involving 5 key staff members:

The US Navy has dismissed four commanding officers and a senior enlisted adviser in less than one week due to “loss of confidence,” a strikingly short timeframe for such disciplinary action. —NYPost

Task and Purpose explained:

The reasons for these firings vary: Kins allegedly refused to get tested for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19); Zamberlan and Lundberg were relieved because they allegedly mishandled a sexual harassment complaint; and Servello was fired because the Navy determined he had not followed proper shipboard operating procedures, Navy officials said.

Reid was fired “due to a loss of confidence after she failed to abide by a lawful order,” said Cmdr. Amber Lewis, a spokeswoman for Navy Reserve Forces Command. No further information was available.

Is this sudden burst of firings a one-off? Or is it a sign of things to come?

Ultimately, time will tell.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
