The Regime Media continues to bang the drum that Biden “received more votes than any President in history” — but just 18 months in and it looks like a whole lot of Americans aren’t so happy with their choice.

It’s not a shock that there is some buyer’s remorse here. Biden has managed to eff up pretty much anything that his administration touches and refuses to acknowledge any failures.

The problem for Team Biden is that a whole lot of voters have noticed.

A new Harvard/Harris Poll in collaboration with Harvard University’s Center for American Political Studies was conducted on June 28 and 29 with 1,308 registered voters surveyed and showed that voters aren’t so keen on the thought of a second Biden term.

A whopping 71% of respondents said that Biden shouldn’t run again with the vast majority citing poor performance as President and age as factors and another one-quarter of respondents choosing the polite answer that it’s merely “time for a change” less than two years into this administration.

A Harvard CAPS–Harris Poll survey shared exclusively with The Hill found that 71 percent of respondents polled do not think Biden should run for a second term, compared to 29 percent who say he should run.

Among the contingent of respondents who believe the president should not run, 45 percent said Biden should not make another bid because he is a bad president, while about one-third of respondents said he is too old and about one-quarter said because it is time for a change.

“President Biden may want to run again but the voters say ‘no’ to the idea of a second term, panning the job he is doing as president. Only 30 percent of Democrats would even vote for him in a Democratic presidential primary,” Mark Penn, the co-director of the Harvard CAPS–Harris Poll survey, said.

But this is not exactly a surprise — Biden’s approval has been dropping consistently for months. Voters’ confidence in the ability of the administration to deal with any of the many issues affecting their lives on a daily basis is pretty low.

The development comes as Biden continues to suffer low approval ratings. The Harvard CAPS–Harris Poll survey found that the president has an overall approval rating of 38 percent, with respondents giving him low marks on handling inflation (28 percent), the economy (32 percent), stimulating jobs (43 percent) and reacting to COVID-19 (50 percent), among other issues.

Democrats are already bracing for losses this November given Biden’s low approval numbers and the historical precedent that a first-term president’s party generally suffers losses in the midterm elections.

The poll also said that 61% of respondents didn’t think that former President Donald Trump should run again, and a similar percentage (60%) said that they’d consider a moderate, independent candidate if faced with a Biden v. Trump rematch in 2024.

While the former President hasn’t made a definitive announcement on his 2024 plans, he’s heavily hinted that he’d run again — and even teasing that he might select Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as his running mate.

While there is much speculation on who might run for the GOP, the Dems are either stuck with Biden and the even less popular Harris or floating the idea of bringing back Hillary for 2024.

Biden won partly because of the malfeasance of blue state governors and legislatures that put their thumbs on the scale in 2020 by changing election laws at the last minute, but also because voters didn’t really get to see Biden much. He was hidden in his basement throughout the campaign, and when he had media appearances he was heavily handled by his staffers.

It’s been much harder to keep Bungling Biden under control now that he’s President, although they try their best with the detailed instructions that he’s given on his little cards, curated questions from reporters he’s told to call on, and even the Easter Bunny gets involved in making sure that the President doesn’t go off-script.

It must be exhausting.

It wouldn’t be much of a surprise if some of those frazzled White House staffers fall into that 71% of voters that don’t think that Biden should run again.

Check out Doug’s latest book, The Art of Joe: The Political Brilliance of President Biden. If you have left-leaning family members, workmates, or classmates, to buy several copies and place them in common areas. Make sure you have your video camera ready for when they pick it up and thumb through it because they will be triggered which will make for a great viral video to share across social media. Also, buy a couple for the GOP NeverTrumpers that you know. Finally, both the book’s cover and the epilogue, Notable Quotable Joe are worth the price of admission. We’ve included before and after Biden on Afghanistan. Jen Psaki will no likey this book, but you will. BTW, the book is 95% bereft of any content. Just like Biden’s head.
