In stark contrast to the catastrophic dithering of those cops in Uvalde, an ordinary citizen reacted to a mass murder scene and put a stop to the killer.

This is yet another ‘good guy with a gun’ story the traditional press doesn’t like us talking about.

A lone man with a long gun killed three people before an armed bystander killed him in the Greenwood Park Mall food court Sunday evening, according to Greenwood Police Chief Jim Ison. Two people were injured.
“It appears that he had a rifle with several magazines of ammunition, entered the food court and began shooting,” Ison said.
The “good Samaritan” who shot the man with the rifle was a 22-year-old man from Bartholomew County, Indiana, Ison said.

The story goes on to explain that all but one of the people shot in that incident were female, it doesn’t specify whether the exception they mean was the attacker himself.

Normally, if an unnamed 22yo male carrying a firearm is in a news story involving a mall, you can be sure the media will cast him in the role of villain. But this one wasn’t.

He was just an ordinary young man exercising his right to self-defense. He wasn’t looking for trouble, but you can be sure he was ready for it when it found him.

We don’t know anything about him. Does he have a law-enforcement background? Military service? Was he just a regular Joe who enjoys the liberties afforded him by the Constitution? We don’t know. And that’s exactly the point.

He is the personification of all of us: Joe Citizen. Law-abiding. And ready to do the hard thing in a moment of crisis.

The media would have us believe that the guy he took down was the real ‘personification of all of us’, assuming that a great many of us have the heart of that killer and the reason we must never have access to guns. But that’s not true at all.

The guy who is willing to take those violent steps — sorry ‘gender is a construct’ people, but it’s almost always a guy — has a number of warning signs. The lack of an involved father is among them. There are others. And they almost always pick a ‘soft target’ where they won’t expect victims to shoot back at them so they can murder enough innocents to become truly infamous.

But at least part of the problem stems from the fact that the guy willing to start picking off victims has bought into some version of the same jaded view of America that the left shovels down our children’s throats. That the system is rigged against you. That there is no hope of making something of yourself.

That the only way to be noticed or remembered is through one last act of defiance that takes enough other people with you that the media flashes your name and photo among others who walked that same path to infamy.

That dead loser is not the important player in this story. Joe Citizen is.

Because through this small glimpse into his story — whatever it may be — can be found everything that made America stand apart as a nation not built on race but on a creed: ‘out of many, one’.

All that’s left for the rest of us is to live up to that high standard… if we can.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
