Carry a Trump flag to the steps of the Capitol Building and you’ll get solitary confinement without even being convicted… but threaten to kill Republicans with a bullet or a brick…?

We keep hearing about the ‘extremists’ on the political right, how grave a threat they are to Democracy and life in the United States.

White supremacists, we are told, lurk behind every corner and every parent in a school board meeting is a potential domestic terrorist. THOSE threats are taken super-seriously, and we hear about them endlessly.

But what about when someone recites DNC talking points as justification for a series of murderous acts specifically targeting Republicans?

More specficially, what about when Senator Ted Cruz receives an explicit murderous threat calling him by his given name, claiming to know where he lives, and threatening to end his life in a message left on Cruz’s phone? Is that ‘domestic terrorism”?

Because that’s exactly what Isaac Nformangum has been accused of doing.

“Hello and good afternoon Senator Rafael. This is one of the many Afro-American constituents of whom you are representative of here in Texas, as you currently serve from the Senate,” the man said in the phone call.

“I have just read the, uh, Texas Republican Party’s platform for this current 2022 year, uh, wherein it is apparent that your many colleagues intend … intend to have the voting right acts repealed and not reauthorized?”

…”Every last one of your Republican colleagues to have signed off on that platform is to be found, and is to be found and killed, be it by a bullet to the face or by the smashing of a brick in your skull,” Nformangum continued.

“It is a civic duty of every American citizen or resident to see to it that every last one of your colleagues is to be killed. Killed. Be it by finding you in a public space or by trailing you to your very, by your very public homes.” — FoxNews

Sounds serious. Especially since we have recently seen an assassination attempt on a sitting Supreme Court Justice, a wave of criminal violence against pro-life churches and charities — with threats to escalate further, a foiled terrorist plot against Dubya’s life, and it wasn’t so long ago that Senator Paul was hospitalized by a neighbor after surviving a politially-motivated Bernie-bro assassin’s attack on the Republican baseball practice.

So they found the guy who threatened Cruz and the other Republicans, charged him, and brought him before a court.

Was he thrown into a dark hole somewhere? Given solitary confinement?

Nope. He’s out on bail. And now he’s vanished.

Nformangum, who accused Republicans of taking away his right to vote, was due in court Friday after being released on bond July 3. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
