From The CDC To YouTube ‘The Science’ On COVID Is Quietly Being Updated

“The Science” hasn’t changed, the data hasn’t changed, but after two years, suddenly you can say what used to get you suspended or kicked off of social media.

The “medical experts” and arbiters of truth have given no apologies for silencing their opponents, no mea culpas for the “mis-“, “dis-“, and “mal-information” that they’ve been spewing relentlessly for nigh unto 3 years now.

“Better late than never” is all well and good, but this staunch defense of anti-science with regard to the pandemic has caused significant harm — from the silencing of journalists and experts that questioned the guidance to people losing their jobs for refusing the COVID shots to fractured families, there were significant consequences to the diktats from on-high.

Do you think that the people who have been fired, had their platforms demonetized, or had their relationships fractured because of the acceptable discrimination against the unvaccinated will be able to “fix” what happened now that the CDC and arbiters of truth are saying what they said a year or more ago? Not very likely.

YouTube’s COVID “Misinformation” Policy

Independent journalist Tim Pool noticed a couple of days ago that YouTube had quietly updated its “COVID-19 Medical Misinformation Policy” to allow people to say that masks don’t work.

On Thursday, he noticed that claims about the vaccines were on the chopping block, too.

In another tweet, Pool notes that even really extreme claims aren’t going to be censored. Things like “claims that wearing a mask causes oxygen levels to drop to dangerous levels,” “claims that wearing a mask gives you COVID-19,” and even “claims that masks cause lung cancer or brain damage” are now allowed on YouTube.

Trump “Rushed” The Vaccines

Now that the jabs aren’t working as advertised after millions have become pincushions for Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson, some people have suffered from negative effects — myocarditis in young men comes to mind — Politico is now trying to cast the blame of the rushed rollout on… President Trump.

The Trump administration pressured the Food and Drug Administration, including former FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn, to authorize unproven treatments for Covid-19 and the first Covid-19 vaccines on an accelerated timeline, according to a report released Wednesday by Democrats on the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis.

Senior Trump administration officials fought for the reauthorization of hydroxychloroquine, a drug normally used to treat malaria and lupus, after the FDA revoked its emergency clearance of the drug because data showed it was ineffective against Covid-19 and could lead to potentially dangerous side effects, the report found. The Democrats’ investigation also documents potential influence from former White House officials regarding the FDA’s decision to authorize convalescent plasma, and White House attempts to block the FDA from collecting additional safety data on Covid-19 vaccines in order to get them to the public before the 2020 presidential election.

Oh, so political pressure to get a vaccine out early as blue states like New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan were racking up the death toll with their horrendous nursing home orders and begging then-President Trump to “do something!” is a bad thing all of a sudden?

Interesting.

Back in the fall of 2020, the initial data suggested that these vaccines would be highly effective at stopping transmission of the virus, but politics appears to have played a role in the jabs not being announced before the election.

I’m old enough to remember when Democrats were skeptical of the vaccine, then once Biden won the election, treated it as a miracle cure that would end the pandemic and denounced anyone who even questioned anything about them as “anti-vaxxers” and “anti-Science.”

Now with the midterms coming up, the Democrat sycophants in the Regime Media are back to distrusting the “rushed” Trump vaccines.

It should be interesting to see what happens with Joe’s reelection bid and if the Regime Media will say that the Biden administration “rushed” the approval for boosters for kids, shots for tots, and Pfizer’s antiviral that has brought on “rare” cases of Rebound ‘Rona in three of the most prominent people in the United States — President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, and Dr. Anthony Fauci.

In a surprise to no one, the Democrats who insist that it’s wrong to politicize the pandemic while they constantly politicize the pandemic, have found that the Trump administration’s pressure to get vaccines and treatments out to the public less than a year into the pandemic was how the Bad Orange Man committed “assaults on our nation’s public health institutions” and probably is a tHrEaT tO dEmOcRaCy itself.

“The Select Subcommittee’s findings that Trump White House officials deliberately and repeatedly sought to bend FDA’s scientific work on coronavirus treatments and vaccines to the White House’s political will are yet another example of how the prior Administration prioritized politics over public health,” House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.), who also chairs the subcommittee, said in a statement.

“These assaults on our nation’s public health institutions undermined the nation’s coronavirus response,” he added.

“Prioritizing politics over public health” is a problem according to Rep. Clyburn.

Oh, do you mean having the CDC coordinate with teachers’ unions to craft school guidance?

Or meeting with unions before updating guidance on masks?

How about mandating vaccines in order to keep your job?

What about the way that the Biden admin gutted the military of healthy, able-bodied servicemembers who refused to get the Fauci Ouchies?

CDC Finally Acknowledges Natural Immunity

One absolutely astounding thing has been the dogged refusal to accept what you might call the “settled science” on natural immunity for coronaviruses in the past — if you get it, it’s the same as (or better) than a man-made vaccine.

Prior to COVID, even Saint Fauci said that natural immunity is “the most potent vaccination.”

MIT graduate Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) has been beating the drum about natural immunity since… forever.

Here he is in February saying that vaccination isn’t necessary for those who have been infected with COVID because the protection from natural immunity is more robust than protection from the jabs. This was something that we learned from an Israeli study published back in January.

A recent article published on the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) website notes that despite the evidence that was around in January 2022 and the many, many critiques of mandatory vaccination policies by medical experts, the CDC refused to acknowledge natural immunity.

In the summer of 2021, many countries across the world, as well as US cities, were in the process of implementing vaccine passports. Other governments, at the national, state, and local level, were considering coercive measures to compel people to get vaccinated, an ethically dubious policy that runs against a basic human right: bodily autonomy.

The results of the Israel study should have caused public health officials to reconsider these policies. Harvard Medical School professor Martin Kulldorff observed that the findings seemed to destroy the rationale for vaccine mandates.

“Prior COVID disease (many working class) provides better immunity than vaccines (many professionals),” wrote [Dr. Martin] Kulldorff, an epidemiologist and biostatistician who has studied infectious diseases for decades, “so vaccine mandates are not only scientific nonsense, they are also discriminatory and unethical.”

But suddenly, in August 2022, natural immunity is being acknowledged by the CDC.

Upon releasing new pandemic guidelines last week, CDC epidemiologist Greta Massetti explained to reporters what many have been saying for more than a year: both vaccines and prior infection offer protection from severe symptomatic Covid.

“Both prior infection and vaccination confer some protection against severe illness,” Massetti told reporters. “And so it really makes the most sense to not differentiate with our guidance or our recommendations based on vaccination status at this time.”

Because of this, the CDC’s new guidelines treat vaccinated and unvaccinated people the same. Less than a year after declaring Covid “a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” the Biden administration is building a midterm campaign around the “triumphant return to normalcy,” The Atlantic reports.

What took so long? Maybe it’s like the homelessness crisis and illegal immigration — an entire industry popped up around COVID and the incentive was to keep that going because people were making money.

The CDC’s politicization and failure to acknowledge actual science is a real problem.

A little bit of humility would be nice, along with some mea culpas followed by apologies, and holding some of these COVIDictators accountable for the 24/7 fear-porn are what is needed to restore some semblance of trust in public health and information platforms.

That’s what Heather Heying and Bret Weinstein are calling for.

It would also be nice if the “fact-checkers” who pushed for the demonetizing of websites based on fake science get tossed out on their asses and pay for the shortfall that they’ve cost the websites for daring to question how “the science” suddenly changed in 2020.

You know who you are and if you are capable of feeling shame, (which is doubtful) you should have significant trouble looking into the mirror every morning.
