In case the FBI didn’t already have a big enough credibility problem from Crossfire Hurricane, calling parents terrorists, and seizing journalists’ phones, now we have news about Hunter Biden.
Senator Grassley has written a letter to the Inspector General outlining his concerns about apparent evidence of the FBI’s partisanship in handling this case.
The American public already knew something was off about the federal government’s handling of all things Hunter Biden. For one thing, years’ worth of Secret Service logs could not be unaccounted for. Then there was federal law enforcement’s obvious clean-up effort on Hunter’s gun-in-a-garbage-can fiasco in which Federal Agents tried to take possession of the original paperwork Hunter filled out in which he committed a felony when he claimed NOT to be a drug user.
News of Hunters’ laptop — whose emails were corroborated by a former business associate claiming that Joe Biden was the ‘Big Guy’ getting the 10% from Chinese Communist Party-affiliated business partners — should have been enough to disqualify Joe Biden in the public eye as a compromised candidate.
This is no mere opinion. Post-election polls showed that critical 2020 battleground states would have flipped red had voters known the contents of Hunter’s laptop were legit BEFORE they cast their vote.
Now we have whistleblowers from within the FBI (which have been popping up like mushrooms in the last few weeks, with more than a dozen so far) giving the ‘rest of the story’ on why there has been no action on Hunter’s laptop.
The same FBI that has admitted to participating in actual entrapment schemes targeting Republicans has refused to look into actual evidence of criminal acts involving the son of the President. Instead, they have allowed the honest laptop repair shop owner to be defamed, destroying both his reputation and his business.
“Whistleblowers have recently contacted my office to share serious concerns about the FBI’s handling of Hunter Biden’s laptop,” Johnson wrote, adding that FBI leaders at the local level told employees that “you will not look at that Hunter Biden laptop” when it was discovered at a Delaware computer repair shop in 2019.
The new claims “allege that the FBI did not begin to examine the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop until after the 2020 presidential election—potentially a year after the FBI obtained the laptop in Dec. 2019,” Johnson said.
The whistleblower also allegedly said the leadership essentially said that employees are “not going to change the outcome of the election again,” possibly referring to former FBI Director James Comey’s 2016 letter to Congress about Hillary Clinton’s private email server that came just days before the 2016 General Election.
“It is clear to me based on numerous credible whistleblower disclosures that the FBI cannot be trusted with the handling of Hunter Biden’s laptop,” Johnson wrote in the Aug. 23 letter. “I call on you to immediately investigate the FBI’s handling of Hunter Biden’s laptop and begin by obtaining the history of the investigative actions taken by the FBI on Hunter Biden’s laptop which should be available on the FBI’s case management system, Sentinel.” –TheEpochTimes
