Office Of Biden’s Climate Czar Consulted With Left-Wing Enviro Groups While Crafting Policies

Fox News obtained emails showing that John Kerry’s office had consulted with their environmental allies to craft Biden admin’s “green” energy policy.

Watchdog group Protect the Public’s Trust (PPT) obtained a number of emails between the office of the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate (SPEC) and anti-fossil fuel non-governmental organizations through a FOIA request that shows that Kerry’s office was in discussion with multiple leftwing environmental groups that appeared to have guided Biden administration climate policy.

There were no similar conversations with pro-fossil fuel groups or companies, which is weird since Kerry absolutely adores his private jet which doesn’t run on hopes, dreams, or solar panels.

One email from Alden Meyer, a climate policy consultant and senior associate at the green group Third Generation Environmentalism, planned a Zoom call between SPEC officials and leaders of 13 climate groups to discuss several topics ahead of the G7 in May 2021.

Fox News reports some of the deets:

Among the topics, the officials planned to discuss whether the U.S. would support a G7 statement ending fossil fuel infrastructure financing, phasing out traditional gas-powered vehicle sales and phasing out coal power generation. The call also included a conversation about whether the U.S. would coordinate a global effort reducing methane emissions.

The email also showed that the participants would discuss a so-called “clean counteroffer” to the Chinese government’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), a massive infrastructure project stretching from China to Europe.

While it is unclear the exact influence of the policy discussion, President Biden announced a $200 billion counter to the BRI in June that prioritized climate change and the U.S. entered into a global methane pledge during the United Nations climate summit in November. Biden also set a goal to ensure at least 50% of all vehicle sales are electric by 2030 in August 2021.

In addition, a December 2021 email from Jake Schmidt, the managing director of the Natural Resources Defense Council’s (NRDC) international program, revealed that several environmental groups were invited to a briefing from the SPEC office and National Security Council (NSC), which Kerry has a position on, about overseas fossil fuel finance.

That December 2021 email was sent to Friends of the Earth, Oxfam, Sierra Club, Oil Change International, the Climate Reality Project, World Resources Institute, the Bank Information Center, RMI, and the Center for International Environmental Law, all of whom push for a rapid transition from fossil fuel to “green” energy production like wind and solar.

The invitation was not extended to current energy-producing companies like oil, natural gas, or coal.

The emails also show that the communications included requests to discuss the details over phone calls in order to keep them off the record.

PPT Director Michael Chamberlain said that it shows that despite the administration insisting that they’re guided by The Science — they’re actually being led by their political allies.

“Just as FOIA revealed that teachers’ unions exerted undue influence in the development of policy regarding school reopening, these conversations seem to provide evidence that large, powerful activist organizations may be pushing the same expensive climate policy that just passed as what some are terming the ‘Green New Deal Lite,’” Chamberlain told FOX News Digital.

“Little wonder that the American public’s trust in its government is in free fall,” concludes Chamberlain.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
