Here’s How Biden’s Red Sermon Gives Green Light To Black-Bloc Violence

‘Never Forget.’ When we invoke these words in reference to the Holocaust, they are meant to be used as a warning, not as a blueprint.

In denouncing half of America as semi-fascist (read: Nazis) he is swerving awfully close to the very model of authoritarian violence he claims to stand against.

Every time anyone who doesn’t march in lockstep with the left’s latest agenda opens his mouth in public, there is a good chance even his most benign and milquetoast comments will be met with outrage. We hear endless hand-wringing about ‘hidden agendas’ and ‘dog whistles’.

But for some reason, these same media voices saw nothing inappropriate with Joe Biden’s ‘Red Sermon. The media even celebrated Joe Biden’s supposed fighting spirit for denouncing his opponents as ‘semi-fascists’.

What they either didn’t understand or worse, refused to admit, is that their praise of this language would be received as an open invitation to a specific kind of political violence.

To understand this properly, we need to step back and survey the political landscape of the past few years.

This article will be longer than some of our others, but will attempt to build a case for a direct cause-and-effect correlation between the language Biden used in his ‘Red Sermon’ in front of Independence Hall and the predictable physical violence his language will provoke when pared with his own administration’s policies and prejudices.

The politicized justice system:

Harsh On Republicans…

In just the last few months, you have seen the Biden administration create an expectation that not all political crimes would be treated with equal seriousness.

Anyone and anything that could be tied back to Donald Trump would be cranked up to eleven. The slightest hint of an infraction — real or imagined — would be prosecuted to the greatest extent of the law. And if that means trampling some Constitutional Rights along the way… well that’s a price they’re willing to pay in service of their political objectives.

Parents protesting odius cirrucula, or the rape of a child in their school were classed among Dangerous Domestic terrorists. So were ordinary citizens flying a Betsy Ross flag, or citing the Second Amendment.

Soft on lawbreaking leftists

Remember the riots of 2020? Veep Kamala was still a candidate, and helped raise bail money for violent offenders who had hospitalized police officers and destroyed billions of dollars of private property. One of the men she freed went on to murder someone.

But even now that BLM has been discredited as a multi-million dollar grift, Democrats have never distanced themselves from the cause, the violence, or the rioters. If anything, these riots were excused as ‘mostly peaceful’ or morally justified because of [insert grievance here].

In the last few months we have seen Biden’s allies in the pro-abortion lobby vandalizing churches and crisis pregnancy centers. We see the relative silence of Biden, Harris, and Garland while felonies are committed in the illegal protest at the homes of Republican-appointed SCOTUS justices. A man was arrested while on his way to assassinate one of them, just a few blocks from his home, and Democrats did nothing to lower the temperature over the abortion debate.

Quite the opposite, they have tried to whip that angst up into a frenzy in hope that it could salvage their chances in the midterm elections. Biden has routinely made deliberate and cynical lies about the nature of the Dobbs ruling … claiming that interracial marriage, same-sex marriage, and birth control would also be at risk.

The ruling made clear that the scope of this decision was abortion and nothing else… and that the court did not favor one legal ruling on abortion over another, beyond the fact that SCOTUS affirmed it was in the power of each individual state to wrestle with this question and make laws accordingly.

Perverse incentives

It is axiomatic in behavioural psycology that ‘that which is rewarded is repeated’. This includes consequence-free bad behavior.

When we see crime sprees popping up in regions where bail is low or prosecutors won’t charge offenders, it is because the ‘reward’ for the bad behavior (taking property you couldn’t afford to buy, feeling ’empowered’ through acts of violence … etc) is not curbed by a consequence that outweights the potential gain.

If political activists on the left with a belief that the ends justify the means, and a fondness for violence and property destruction believe they can attack and intimidate their political enemies without facing any serious consequences — while knowing that any similar organized resistance on the other side would be treated by police and media as nothing less than Domestic Terrorists and threats to Democracy, you have effectively created an American version of Mussolini’s Blackshirts or Hilters’s Brownshirts.

It might seem an outrageous comparison, until you understand how that comparison is applied. The Blackshirts and Brownshirts were free to break laws and embrace violence in attacking political targets the ruling class considered fair game. They would fear no consequences from breaking jewish shopkeeper’s windows, or attacking their political opposition.

Six years of punching ‘Nazis’

There is a very specific reason that violence on the left has been ignored by both the media and elected Democrats — they approve of the violence because they consider the people being beat up to be sub-human and therefore, justifiable targets of violence.

POLITICAL VIOLENCE: Dew-Eyed Dems Denounce Trump, But SUPPORTED It Not Long Ago

Long before the ‘Jan 6 Insurection’, we saw Black Bloc protesters smashing and burning their way through DC on Trump’s Inauguration Day. We saw mob violence erupt to suppress the public events of ‘problematic’ Conservative speakers on university campuses.

And in the perfect encapsulation of this way of thinking, we saw White Supremacist Richard Spencer (who later endorsed Joe Biden) get punched out on live TV.

Pair that with a steady drumbeat of Trump-is-a-Bigot and Worse-the-Hitler reporting, and it should be no surprise that it was open season on anyone with a MAGA hat.

We all watched as the Media-Informational-Complex went to war with a sixteen-year-old kid in a MAGA hat for *checks notes* smirking in public.

Special pleading for Anifa

For years, the left have fallen somewhere between denying the existance of Antifa to applauding their efforts.

Don Lemon famously said ‘Anti-fascist — it’s right in their name!’
Chris Cuomo — something of a rage case himself — justified their violence.

Toobin, best remembered for an entirely different kind of man-handling — than anything Antifa is known for tried to paint Antifa as a racial minority ‘victim’ of supposedly ‘racist’ Trump — despite almost every Antifa Mugshot being an unattractive white college kid.

In 2020, Nadler wouldn’t even acknowledge Antifa’s existance when asked questions about their violence by a reporter on the street.

Taken Together these factors are a recipe for violence

Let’s recap:
– policing that ignores crimes committed in the name of a ‘favored’ political cause
– endlessly demonizing a political party with terms like bigot, racist, or nazi
– celebrating violent criminals as ‘heroes’ who ‘defend’ principles or rights from ‘Nazis’
– Media explicitly endorsing Antifa’s ‘Bash-the-Fash’ message.
– Democrats posting bail for Antifa in 2020
(and now…)
– Biden calling MAGA Republicans ‘semi-fascist’, and an existential threat to America.

If you face an ‘existential threat’, the rules go out the window. Playing fair doesn’t matter, it’s a battle of survival.

If Biden’s cynical and inflammatory words serve to normalize politcial violence, that’s a hell of a hard hole to dig ourselves out from.

Maybe this guy who ran as a ‘unifyer’ should shelf his contempt for anyone who dislikes his agenda long enough to read Lincoln’s 2nd Inaugural. He could learn a thing or two — especially with that ‘malice toward none’ part.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
