The White House has been clear — denying the results of an election is a “threat to democracy.” Does that extend to Democrats, though?

It’s a great question.

Since 2000, Democrats have been quite vocal in their election denial any time they lose.

But in 2020, as rules were unlawfully changed in some states due to the pandemic, suggesting that there were shenanigans is suddenly anathema to the Russia-collusion truthers that think that approximately $100k in Facebook ads cost Hillary the election in 2016.

Heck, Stacey Abrams is still bleating about how she actually won the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial race despite losing it by 55k votes.

But the President was pretty clear in his dark, divisive Hitler-meets-Stalin “Battle for the Soul of the Nation” speech in Philadelphia on September 1.

Despite President Biden saying that refusing to accept the results of an election is a “threat to democracy” it would seem that his Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, has a bit of a history of very public “election denial” going back to 2016.

Ladies and Gentlemen, that is the White House Press Secretary.

At the White House Press Briefing on Tuesday, Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy confronted Jean-Pierre on her tweets stating that former President Trump and Georgia Governor Brian Kemp both “stole” the elections in 2016 and 2018 respectively.

It’s shameful and says a whole lot about the state of the media that Peter Doocy is the only journalist with the stones to ask her about this.

And her response is lackluster at best.

Watch the exchange:

“So let’s be very clear that that comparison that you made is just ridiculous,” said Jean-Pierre.

“How is that ridiculous?” asked Doocy.

“You’re asking me a question, let me answer it,” replied KJP. “I was talking specifically at that time of what was happening with voting rights and what was in danger of voting rights. That’s what I was speaking to at the time and here’s the thing, I have said, Governor Kemp won the election in Georgia. I’ve been clear about that. I have said President Trump won the election in 2016 and I’ve been clear about that.”

Trump supporters can play that card, too. A lot of the complaints about the 2020 election by the “MAGA Republicans” are about the flood of unsolicited ballots, ballot harvesting, drop boxes in Dem districts, attempts to evade transparency under the guise of COVID, and the “fortification” of the election by a “well-funded cabal” that included Big Tech — you know, the same ones that censored the Hunter Biden Laptop From Hell story after a general warning from the FBI.

But do go on, Karine.

She then says that the difference is that the concerns of Republicans led to the “January 6 iNsUrReCtIoN” that she completely misrepresents.

“What we are talking about right now is let’s not forget what happened on January 6, 2021, where we saw an insurrection, a mob that was incited by the person who occupied this campus, this facility at that time,” said KJP. “And it was an attack on our democracy. Let’s not forget people died that day. Law enforcement were attacked that day. That was the danger that we were seeing at the time. That’s what the president has called out and that’s what he’s going to do continue to call out.”

“So yes, when you have MAGA Republicans, an extreme part of Republicans, who just deny or do not want to really say what exactly happened on that day or say it was a protest when it clearly was not a peaceful protest. That’s not what we saw on that day. Yes, the president’s going to call that out,” she said.

Remind me… why were stores covering their windows and preparing for riots in November 2020? Was it because they were afraid of the parties in the streets when Biden won, or was it becuase there were threats of violence in case Trump won re-election?

Let’s not forget that there were non-stop “Not My President!” protests from the #Resist crowd for four years culminating in the George Floyd race riots… and threats to “mobilize” those same forces again if the election wasn’t sufficiently “fortified.”

It wasn’t exactly a super-fun, happy time for Trump supporters who were harassed and assaulted for daring to wear a red trucker hat out in public.

KJP’s claim that she was “waiting” for the answer doesn’t seem plausible. The woman can’t seem to formulate a thought on her own, all she ever does is read from her briefing book. If she really had been expecting the question, wouldn’t she be ready for it?

The idea that she wouldn’t need notes to answer a question about her own tweets isn’t plausible since we all can see how badly she responded. She needs the notes.

Even though Doocy outmatched Jen Psaki on every level, at least those sparring matches seemed a bit more fair — these exchanges with diversity-hire Jean-Pierre are like shooting fish in a barrel.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
