PrimeTime 99 Alex Stein, right-wing comedian and provocateur went to Penn State with comedian and political commentator Gavin McInnes on Monday.
The pair were greeted by a very angry crowd who tried to shame the right-wingers for daring to show up on their campus.
Clearly, the protesters were unfamiliar with the work of either McInnes or Stein.
Neither one of them cares what people have to say about them. McInnes, who is often referred to as the “founder of the Proud Boys” is known for pushing the envelope with his comedy. As for founding the Proud Boys, he was the founder of the organization which was mostly created as a drinking club for right-wingers and publicly left the organization in 2018 after it was labeled an “extremist” group by the leftwing smear merchants at the Southern Poverty Law Center and later designated a white nationalist organization by the FBI.
Alex Stein has zero shame and will apparently do anything to make his point.
CBS News reports that the event was canceled.
Penn State University officials canceled an event Monday featuring Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes.
Uncensored America, a student organization, planned to host a comedy event with McInnes. A clash between Penn State student demonstrators and alleged members of a far-right street gang led to the decision to cancel the planned event.
“Due to the threat of escalating violence associated with tonight’s event, Penn State University Police determined that it was necessary to cancel the speaking event in the interest of campus safety. Demonstrations regrettably turned violent,” Penn State said in a statement on its website about an hour before the event’s start time.
Students told reporters that there were about 500 protesters in the crowd at one point.
That didn’t stop Stien and McInnes from showing up, though.
