LMAO: Remember That Prediction Trump Made About CNN’s Future Without Him? Nailed It!

Oliver Darcy had a sad announcement about CNN’s future. It involved a boatload of pink slips. Maybe if they hadn’t been so indifferent to the lives destroyed by shutdowns, people would be more sympathetic.

You remember Oliver, don’t you? He and Brian Stelter were tip-of-the-spear in the Cancel Culture game and may have been the ones who personally kicked the deplatforming game into high gear by having Twitter put a hit out on someone who got an army of meme-lords to mock CNN’s remaining credibility into oblivion.

ClashDaily covered THAT story long before nuking accounts from orbit had become an everyday occurrence. Was ‘Free Press’ Just Caught Colluding With Twitter In Latest Alex Jones Blacklisting?

Darcy has struck a significantly less triumphalist tone now that new management has come in to clean house and right the ship of a network whose ratings and credibility have been in free-fall for years.

Another tweet announced that ‘CNN is grieving’. He even wrote an article about CNN’s layoffs:

The layoffs, which started Wednesday and were expected to impact hundreds of employees, largely had been completed by Thursday afternoon. A CNN spokesperson declined to say how many employees were let go, but the cuts targeted several areas of the company, including some on-air talent and members of management.
The series of changes, which came after Licht conducted a months-long review of CNN’s business after taking over in May as the network’s head, notably included the ending of live programming on HLN, CNN’s longtime sister channel. Licht said that, starting December 6, CNN “will no longer produce live programming for HLN.”
…“Our goal throughout the strategic review process has been to better align our people, processes and resources with our future priorities, strengthen our ability to deliver on CNN’s core journalistic mission and enable us to innovate in the years ahead,” Licht said in his Thursday memo. “At the highest level, the goal is to direct our resources to best serve and grow audiences for our core news programming and products.”
“To achieve these goals, we will be reducing open job positions, reimagining our workflows and aligning our staffing, investments and focus around three key strategic priorities: programming, newsgathering and digital,” Licht added. “All decisions are designed to strengthen the core of our business.” — Oliver Darcy, CNN.

As expected, Darcy’s ‘reporting’ left out a pretty significant fact of the new CEO’s actual details. It was something of an admission of guilt for the company’s past sins.

Expand and diversity viewpoints? You mean, they now plan to include an occasional person who does NOT think AOC represents a moderate, centrist position? Perhaps even someone on the right who does NOT think the Lincoln Project and Liz Cheney represent the beating heart of Republicanism?

DailyWire was more accurate than the CNN employee in summing up what the actual cuts looked like:

Licht cut all live programming on HLN and got rid of the network’s “Morning Express with Robin Meade” and “Weekend Express,” the New York Post reported.
Other top figures who were laid off include CNN reporters Alison Kosik, Martin Savidge, Alex Field, Mary Ann Fox, and Chris Cillizza, the report said.
CNBC added that the network let go of “hundreds of staffers” out of the network’s roughly 4,400 employees.

Here’s the irony… if CNN hadn’t prioritized the personal destruction of Trump and his presidency above the dispassionate reporting of actual facts on the ground, they would have told the world about Hunter’s laptop, and Trump would be in his second term.

We know CNN was putting propaganda before reporting because Project Veritas caught them in the act. That was the point of their Cornavirus death clock. And their cherry-picking of instances where Biden did NOT look like another sequel from Weekend At Bernie’s.

If they hadn’t done their part in ‘fortifying’ the election for Joe Biden — and if Trump was in his second term — these firings might not have been necessary.

For one thing, he would never have made many of the decisions Biden signed into law that have set the American economy into a tailspin. For another, CNN would still have the ratings bonanza that inevitably came with reporting on a larger-than-life personality like Trump.

Dear Christian: Your Fear Is Full of Crap

by Doug Giles

Beginning in March 2020, many Christians went into lockdown-freak-out mode. Uncut, irrational, unbiblical, and not to mention, unconstitutional, fear gripped many churches and church leaders. Forced to choose between obeying the Word of God or the edict of man, most Western Churches buckled. We even saw it here in First Amendment-protected America.

The Apostle Peter buckled to fear on the night of Christ’s crucifixion. But he learned his lesson and lived the rest of his life bold as a lion. How can the church ‘go and do likewise’?

Read the book and find out!
