Karine Jean-Pierre appears to have lied to reporters and she wasn’t very happy that they called her out on it.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is clearly starting to get annoyed with reporters continuing to ask questions about the four batches of classified documents found in President Biden’s Delaware home, his garage, and at a think tank office at the University of Pennsylvania.
She had insisted on Friday that the search for classified documents had been complete, but over the long weekend, it was disclosed that another batch of documents was found in Biden’s home.
So, was Jean-Pierre lying on Friday, or is she being kept out of the loop and being fed B.S. to take to reporters?
[CLICK TO BROWSE COLLECTION]Day after day, she has been trying to stick to the talking points and insist that Biden is cooperating with the Department of Justice after the initial batch of documents were found at UPenn by Biden’s lawyers just before the midterms in November.
But the White House Press Pool continues to grill her on it — and it’s not just Peter Doocy and a handful of reporters from right-leaning outlets.
On Wednesday, the WH Press Sec insisted that she cannot answer questions about an “ongoing investigation” now that the matter has been referred to a Special Counsel. Convenient.
Q: “The Justice Department has not told the White House that it cannot talk about the facts underlying the Special Counsel investigation into classified documents…why can’t you speak about the underlying facts?”

That response quickly came around to bite her…

KJP has refused to give any real answers and just refers reporters to the DOJ and WH Counsel — but they won’t comment on an ongoing investigation, either.
