Are we finally going to find out what happened on January 6, 2021?
Axios reporter Mark Allen has discovered from “McCarthy sources” that the newly-minted Speaker of the House is giving Fox News host Tucker Carlson exclusive access to a massive amount of video surveillance collected by Capitol Police on January 6, 2021.
The trove of surveillance footage is even more massive than the 14,000 hours that was previously reported — Axios reports that Carlson’s production team has access to approximately 41,000 hours of video which includes multiple camera angles.
Allen reports in Axios:
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has given Fox News’ Tucker Carlson exclusive access to 41,000 hours of Capitol surveillance footage from the Jan. 6 riot, McCarthy sources tell me.
Carlson TV producers were on Capitol Hill last week to begin digging through the trove, which includes multiple camera angles from all over Capitol grounds. Excerpts will begin airing in the coming weeks.

Did you catch that? All of a sudden the riot on January 6th, 2021 is actually being referred to as a “riot” by the Regime Media instead of an “iNsUrReCtIoN” that is “a threat to our sacred democracy!”
Is that an admission that perhaps the Corporate Journos are changing their ways?
Nope. Allen calls Jan. 6 an “insurrection” in the “Why it matters” section of his report, “Carlson has repeatedly questioned official accounts of 1/6, downplaying the insurrection as ‘vandalism.'”

Carlson has been calling for a release of the footage for some time, and said as much to Allen, “[T]here was never any legitimate reason for this footage to remain secret.”
“If there was ever a question that’s in the public’s interest to know, it’s what actually happened on January 6,” said Carlson. “By definition, this video will reveal it. It’s impossible for me to understand why any honest person would be bothered by that.”
Allen counters Carlson’s claims by insisting that the January 6 Committee had aired “numerous excerpts of the footage at last year’s captivating hearings.”
Only a journo would call that yawn-fest “captivating.” Those partisan pressitues never stop the bootlicking, do they?
It’s pretty clear the edited clips aired by the overtly anti-MAGA committee were carefully chosen and cut to remove anything that would be embarrassing to Captiol Police. The J6 Committee was very selective in what was shown to the public.
Carlson, by contrast, has repeatedly called for all of the video footage to be released so that the public can see for themselves what happened.
Last month, he made the call again while observing that there is a lot of footage where the protest in the Capitol looks pretty peaceful… and yet, a thousand people have been arrested (with perhaps more to come) and face serious jail time for the alleged “insurrection.”
At the end of the segment, Carlson also said that there will be some transparency thanks to the new Speaker and a handful of Republicans that pushed him in that direction.
Tucker Carlson getting exclusive video from the Speaker and reporting what happened on Jan. 6 is going to make some Lib journos’ heads explode.
Allen perhaps hints at this when he writes, “‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ on Fox News, and ‘Tucker Carlson Today’ and ‘Tucker Carlson Originals’ on the streaming service Fox Nation — have a massive trove of raw material.”
With that much video, maybe we can actually get some answers about this unsolved mystery:

Someone better do a wellness check on MSNBC’s Race Lady, Joy Reid, when the first installment airs because she’s probably going to lose it.
