A 57yo woman walking her dog at 4am became a target of opportunity for an illegal immigrant in his 30s who sexually attacked her.
Early Sunday morning, in Avignon, France, man started following the woman as she took her dog out for an early morning walk.
He approached her, shoved his hand down her pants and forcefully kissed her.
Not only was that a criminal assault, it was also a serious tactical error on the attacker’s part. It gave his victim a way of escape, and she took it.
She bit off the attacker’s tongue. She and her son went to the police station, and presented them with the evidence.
Police went to the scene and found the assailant.
The man, originally from Tunisia, was illegally in France when he was apprehended. He faces immediate trial and deportation.
What defense did he offer for his actions when the police found him?
That she attacked him.
Riiiiight.
And he defended himself from the attacks of a woman twenty years his senior with… the tip of his tongue?
Yeah. That’s TOTALLY what happened.
While we would prefer that all women in her position had an option like our Second Amendment to save the world the trouble of a trial in such cases, we commend her for the courage it took to stand against her attacker.
