Libs of TikTok creator, Chaya Raichik, was mentioned by name in the House by none other than AOC. Normally, being mentioned in the house is an honor. Not this time.
When an elected representative is falsely accusing you of inciting a criminal act, that’s character defamation.
Members of Congress have a lot of latitude — and certain immunities — that allow them to speak freely in their official functions without any reasonable fear of being held accountable in court — even if they use the kind of defamatory language that would otherwise be actionable in court.
The courts may not offer any such recourse for Ms Raichik. But there are other ways to hold her accountable.
Even self-styled renegades like AOC are obligated to abide by the rules Congress sets for itself, and AOC’s allegations against the Libs of TikTok creator violate one of those House rules governing the conduct of House Members. As a result, an ethics complaint has been opened against Alexandria.
But the cherry on top was the fact that Chaya was given the opportunity to serve that complaint to AOC (or her representatives) herself.
The longer version here (on Twitter) includes both the visit and delivery at AOC’s office and the few moments where she met an unsuspecting AOC in the building, just after serving the complaint. The reaction when AOC realizes who she’s speaking to is priceless.
BREAKING: I served @AOC with an ethics complaint after she lied about me in a committee hearing. AOC wasn’t in her office but then I bumped into her as I was leaving the Capitol!

The second version is shorter, but is on Rumble, which might be easier to watch on some devices.
This version only includes the latter part where Chaya gets to meet AOC.
Accountablity of elected officials. Dems love to talk about it when the ‘other’ guy needs to be held to account.
Isn’t it refreshing to see all that accountability talk boomerang back on them?
In Doug Giles’ latest book, Biblical Badasses: The Women, Giles spotlights ten epic ladies who did awesome things for God with the odds severely stacked against them. These girls weren’t your typical church ladies. They were holy movers and shakers who upset hell with their God-honoring, faith-filled, lives. Giles’ unique take on these terrific women makes the scripture come alive. This book is real, raw, relevant, and irreverent. Giles’ prayer is that after reading, Biblical Badasses: The Women, not only will your noggin be filled with these amazing tales of high and lows from real women who rocked in a hard place, via the power of God, but that you will get off your butt, quit pursuing stupidity, start chasing down your high calling and at the end of your life, you too, like the holy femme fatales featured herein, will have left a massive scar on Satan’s haggard backside.
