Our own Doug Giles is a man of many talents.
He’s an author of many best-selling books, an accomplished painter, an entrepreneur with several successful brands, and of course, a pastor.
When he’s not doing any of that, he’s chilling with the family, letting the air out of big game animals to furnish his studio, or catching monster sharks in shallow water with light tackle.
Needless to say, he’s the kind of guy who might enjoy a cold beer or two on a hot day. Maybe even a cold day.
But when the brand he’s been a loyal customer to for oh, about a couple of decades goes out of its way to trash Doug’s core beliefs and values? Well, Doug may not have picked that fight, but he’s sure not backing down from it.
It would have been easy enough for him to grab a favorite hunting rife or side arm (maybe even one of those ‘scary black rifles’ the gun grabbers so desperately want to take away from American citizens) … but that’s not what Doug did.
He took the last can of Bud Light Lime out of his fridge, and he set his grandson up with an air rifle and let the boy show off his shooting skills.
You gotta admit, the boy’s got some chops.
