Matt Walsh’s Brutally Honest Message About Trans Ideology Is A Wake-Up Call For Christians (VIDEO)

The Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chapter at New Mexico State University hosted the Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh on Tuesday evening for an on-campus lecture.
Walsh knocked it out of the park again at the conclusion of his speech where he directly addressed the destructive nature of transgender ideology. He said the thing that you’re not allowed to say — the entire ideology is a lie. Men cannot become women nor can women become men no matter how desperately an individual wishes it could be so.

That is exactly right. When Jesus said, “Love thy neighbor” he didn’t mean to do that by lying to them and “affirming” their delusion that they can magically transform into the opposite gender.
During the question period, a couple of transgender-identifying individuals present asked him questions which he deftly handled as they made circular arguments to try to justify their delusion as reality.
One transgender-identifying person who says that he is an EMT was stumped by Walsh’s question about biological reality.
A trans EMT tried to use his medical training to prove that sex is not binary. He ran into trouble when I asked him how he’d respond to a patient with a penis who claims he’s having a miscarriage.

Some social media users were critical of Walsh saying that he was being “mean” by telling one man that he doesn’t look like a woman.
I’ve had a few conservatives already message me to tell me that I ruined this exchange by being “cruel” and telling the trans person that he looks like a man. But there’s no cruelty in it. He does look like a man, he’s lying to himself, and he’s the one who put his identity on…

Is it cruel to tell the truth now?
That individual brought his identity to the table insisting that people that he knows see him as a woman. Walsh is correct — the rest of us (who are honest) do not.
Christians must “speak the truth in love” on this issue, and that’s precisely what Walsh did at the end of his speech.
In our post-Christian culture, we’ve lost what evangelism is supposed to look like.
The saddest thing is that evangelicals don’t even try to close the deal most of the time. We just use our flawed view of evangelism as an excuse to avoid saying or doing anything that would make us uncomfortable. 2/4

What is the “loving” thing to do — to “affirm” someone’s delusion or to state reality in love and pray for these people that have been duped by a lie?
We shouldn’t be surprised that people have bought into the lies of the neo-Gnostic Trans Cult — Gnosticism has been a heresy that has been around for thousands of years.
The Father of Lies has been deceiving many from time immemorial. How better to do that than to deny that there are any distinctions between male and female? If you cannot accept the reality that you can see, how can you accept the reality of a God that you cannot see?
The “god of this world” as Paul calls the devil in 2 Corinthians “has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”
As the great theologian, Bob Dylan, said, “You’re going to have to serve somebody/Well, it may be the devil or it may be the Lord/But you’re going to have to serve somebody.”
Christians are not to indulge in these delusions. As Paul writes in Ephesians Chapter 4:
Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds. They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart. They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity.
Perhaps this search for an “identity” is really the cry that is in every human heart.
But that is not the way you learned Christ! — assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another.

Jesus commissioned believers to preach the Gospel to all people, but first, we must cut through the crap ideologies that stand in the way.
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

God’s Word is clear that this isn’t up to the pastors and priests to do this job — it’s up to the everyday believer to preach the Gospel to those that we come across.
Matt Walsh told the trans-identifying individuals in the audience the truth despite the threats he and his family have received for pushing back on this destructive ideology.
And he’s not backing down because he knows the cost to the individuals that buy into that garbage.
We need more people willing to do that no matter what the cost.
After all, we have examples in scripture of people who have paid the ultimate cost for speaking the truth.
