Dear Christian: If You Feel Weird and Overlooked Then Listen to This

Written by Doug Giles on May 17, 2023

When God goes shopping for prophets, liberators and lawgivers, righteous kings and judges, one can regularly find Him looking for love in all the wrong religious places, namely … the wilderness.

For example, when God needed a liberator and a lawgiver to defy Pharaoh and emancipate a massive slave labor workforce, He went to the wilderness and found an unconfident octogenarian, who had a sucky job, and was on the lam from a murder he had committed four decades ago. His name was Moses.

In addition, when God needed someone to eternally shut the mouth and sever the head off of a smack-talking monstrous Philistine, He again found a teenage assassin working in the sandbox of the wilderness. His name was David.

Do you need another example? You do? Awesome. Then I’m a guessin’ you’ll enjoy this short podcast we’ve prepared for you.

John The Baptist: A Rude Awakening Precedes A Great Awakening.

This timely little tome chronicles the politically incorrect ministry of one of God’s most effective wildmen, John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Christ’s ministry.

The abrasive message of repentance John preached 2000 years ago is still confrontational and offensive today — but it is also life-changing.

In our putrid, worldly culture that has turned away from God, this book is a must-read for every Christian.

Available in paperback for those of you who like the feel of the pages in your hot, little hands, on Kindle to keep it right at your fingertips, and as an epic Audiobook.
