As we speak, Congress is waiting for answers about why Biden’s envoy to Iran was suspended and had his security clearance pulled.
(And whether it had anything to do with an alleged attempt to bypass Constitutional rules giving the Senate power to ratify a treaty.)
We know that both Biden and Obama before him have often indulged Iran by looking the other way.

If Iran Put Hits Out On Pompeo & Bolton … Why Is Biden Still Negotiating With Them?
Biden, like Obama before him, bet big on Iran. As expected, this weakness has only emboldened their belligerence.
This isn’t just speculation. It’s fact.
If there wasn’t already enough evidence against stacked against them, we can add an American hostage to the ledger.
A Princeton University doctoral student who went missing three months ago is alive and being held by an Iran-backed militia in Iraq, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has revealed.
Elizabeth Tsurkov, 36, who disappeared in late March, is being held by the Shiite group Kataeb Hezbollah or Hezbollah Brigades.
The U.S. government listed the powerful Iran-backed group as a terrorist organization in 2009.
Netanyahu’s office said Tsurkov, a dual Israeli-Russian academic, is still alive and that they ‘hold Iraq responsible for her safety and well-being.’
The group’s leader and founder Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis was killed in an American airstrike near Baghdad’s international airport in January 2020 along with Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the commander of Iran’s elite Quds Force and the architect of its regional military alliances.
Tsurkov, whose work focuses on the Middle East, and specifically war-torn Syria, is an expert on regional affairs and has been widely quoted over the years by international media, Tsurkov last tweeted on March 21. — DailyMail
Please note, this is the same Hamas that Obama refused to prosecute during his JCPOA negotiations with Iran.
That doesn’t even address the nasty habit of Iran’s navy seizing foreign ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The U.S. Navy prevented Iranian forces from seizing two commercial tanker ships in the Gulf of Oman on Wednesday morning, the service announced in a news release.
During the first seizure attempt, Iranian forces approached a Marshall Islands-flagged vessel but left the scene once a U.S. destroyer arrived and deployed aircraft to patrol the area, the Navy said.
The Navy received a distress call hours later from a Bahamian-flagged tanker off the coast of Oman. Several shots were fired from an Iranian vessel — including from crewed members onboard — at the tanker before U.S. forces arrived and halted the seizure attempt, the Navy said. — Politico
