Sometimes, Christians are the biggest hurdle to people accepting Christ.
That was the last thing on my to-do list.
I had never darkened the door of a church in all my life, and everything I’d seen by the time I was in college screamed the same message: men who become Christians turn to wussies.
No thanks.
Even when God had my number and was pouring on the conviction while backing my lost soul into a corner I was looking for a way to accept His mercy without becoming just another cardigan-wearing clod from the Land that Testosterone Forgot.
In the end, He won… and He did it without reducing me into a gelding.
Here’s my story.
If I had really known who Jesus was in the first place, I wouldn’t have had to worry.
Jesus isn’t some wimpy geek that would spend his day getting shoved into lockers. The real Jesus is the epitome of Biblical masculinity.
I’ve spent most of my life since then helping other Christians discover a Christianity that doesn’t require Christians to check their brains or their cojones at the door and the real Jesus behind it that too much of the Church has swapped out for some kind of a Precious Moments figurine.

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive
Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.Â
